How do you like that light I'm thinking of getting the same one and maybe 4x4 tent... did you get it fixed? Earlier in the thread you said something about having some burnt out LED's... Your grow is looking good though...

So far its working pretty good. The burned out lights werent burnt out lights come to find out. LOL So for anyone that gets one of these lights. When you turn on both veg and bloom. There will be 4 lights that look like they are about out. Those are the IR lights. So my light is fine. Thank you for asking tho. Although I do feel I need to add another light. But I think that is just part of the addiction that is growing. I will grow this entire grow out using nothing but this light. That way everyone, including myself, can see what this light will do by itself. Then hopefully next grow, I will be able to get another light. Even tho I honestly dont know where Im going to put it. Im sure I can figure out something tho.




Small update/concern
Yesterday, I went to do all my tucking. I also went out there at 10 am on the dot to make sure my light was coming on close to that time. After about 5 mins past 10 I decided that I would force the light to come on so I would know that it was coming on at 10. What I had forgot tho was time skipped ahead 1 hour Sunday, So I SCREWED UP and my girls only got about 11 hours of sleep. I didnt realize it till this morning when I went out there at 10 to see if it was coming on any closer to 10. As I waited, I realized my mistake. I also realized that I hadnt really fixed anything as they didnt come on till about 1025 1030. I again moved the timer ahead a little. SO my question is
Will 1 night of only 11 hours screw my girls up? Will it cause HERMIES?

Did you take those fan leafs before during or after the stretch? My lemon Skunks will be ok Without it but these Money Makers are so compact that it really needs some Defo to allow some air and light throughout the plant.

ou get any heat problems with that light? I just set mine up and it was roasting my little closet 4x3x8 even with a 4 inch exhaust fan I was like 14 degrees hotter than ambient. Though not so bad right now I live in so cal where it get to be 100+ could be a nightmare I'm working on a "cool tube" for it What's your average ambient vs canopy temps?

I think you'll be fine for the most part since it is the early stage of flowering. I've had plants flower at 14hr on 10 off before. I wouldn't do that gain but you should be in the clear.

Glad to see everything is looking well and those girls are taking really well to the scrog. I think its interesting that your nutes has a fluctuating ph. Your more likely to get hermies from a high night temp than that little accident. Now if you left your flowering girls under 24 hr for a day, I'd be worried.

I gotta be honest, I had to do a little googling to get a clue to what your asking and I still am not sure. LOL All I really know is my average temp is prolly about 80 lights on and 68 lights off. I take readings from different areas at different times. Right now its on top of my light. Couple days ago it was in the corner on top of the screen and before that it was right in the middle laying on the screen. It has been a battle keeping temps constant. But not really because of the light. It doesnt put out alot of heat. but it DOES put out some heat. If a person had this light in a tent or closet with no venting, it would prolly get to hot. But it has been winter so up until now I have been focusing on keeping the room and tent warm enough without getting too hot, using a small floor heater. It has warmed up so the heater has been off. And during the day, it has been getting a little warm. But I have put a small fan in the doorway and it cools it off a little. It still is getting up to 88 or so, But it gets hotter than that outside during the summer, so Im not sure (as long as there is plenty of air circulation) that being in the 90s will harm the plant. But it may. IDK. I am currently looking into ways to cool the room off during the summer.

I'm in Southern California we don't have winter lol I was hitting 86 when ambient (room that I draw intake from) was 70 degrees I couldn't imagine what itwould be like in summer without any preventative measures.. I saw a guy go real extreme and build an hps style cool tube to exhaust out the lights heat

But anyways the girls are lookin good man! Excited to see the final result keep it up!

Aaaah i get it now. I honestly dont know what my ambient temp is. I have never checked it. But I would say its not much hotter than the tent. If I go into the room, and its hot, the tent is hot, If I go in there and its cool, the tent will be cool. I have my room divided with my tent and supplies in the divided part. It was a great idea when it was cold. As heat had to go thru 2 layers to escape. But now I need the heat to escape, but have love the privacy the sub room provides.

Ok so I finished tucking what I had left from yesterday. Everything recovered nicely from yesterday. I also did a little more defoliation.
I got all the inside leafs that were starting to turn yellow, as well as any leafs and bud spots that are below the screen that will never make it to the top. Hopefully it will allow more air flow. As well as allow the plants to focus more on the bud spots I want.
I had planned on watering tomorrow with water Hi-Brix and some cal mag, as part of my, feed, water feed, schedule. But I am going out of town this weekend. If I water Weds, It will be ready for another by Sunday, I will be getting back on Sunday but I like to let the EJ bubble for 24 hrs. SO I am going to Feed tomorrow. And that way I can come home Sunday and give them straight water. (with Hi-Brix) It doesnt seem to need to be bubbled as much. I didnt bubble last time but I did let it set for 24 hrs before use. ANYWAY my mix was as follows

1 1/2tsp BLOOM
3/4tsp GROW
1tsp CATALYST
1/4tsp MICROBLAST
1/4tsp CAL MAG

Thats about it for now I guess. OHHH i forgot. The damn syphon pump I was loving so much has quit working already. I dont know why but it will work a little, but it spits just as much back out than it sucks up. I will def have to get another. BS as it was almost 20 bucks. But other than that sad little tidbit, not much else. Still havent seen any real signs of budding yet. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures. TIll then

I took thru veg n still taking them during stretch too so we shall see what's better

WED March 16th
51 Days from seed....8 Days in Flower

Ok I fed the girls with the mix I had made the day before. I went to Walmart and got me a couple different syphon pumps. One didnt work at all. The other works. but it is two handed so its a little bit of a pain, but only option right now. And even if the screen wasnt there and I could move the plants, its still easier than what I was doing. Also I see some pre flowering.

Ok so I checked the girls this morning to see my LS2 is showing this

Im mixing my nutes today in a few hours. So if anyone could tell me what this is so I know what to focus on when mixing my nutes, it would be helpful. I did some googling and from what It looks to me is a Cal def, But I just gave it some cal mag weds. Granted it only got 1/4tsp a gal. So I dont know. Should I give it more cal mag, Maybe a foliar spray, or just mix with nutes. How much should I give if thats it?

As you can see from the pictures above, I am having a slight issue. Only on the LS. So that tells me that more than likely it is a Def, Rather than a nute lockout due to ph. And going by compared pictures, I believe it is a Cal problem. But not entirely sure so here is my Nute mix for tomorrow.

1tsp GROW was only going to give 1/2 but both LS look like they need some N
1tsp CATALYST
1 1/2tsp BLOOM
1/2tsp BIG BLOOMIN GUANO
1/4tsp META-K
1/2tsp MICROBLAST was actually a bit less than half but over 1/4th, wanted to give a little extra in case it was a Boron Def
1/4tsp CAL MAGwas going to give more but MMs are fine, and the EJ CalMag has 3.00N and the MM arent in need of N. So I will give another 1/4thtsp for a total of 1/2tsp of CALMAG to both the LS. Right now its all mixed together in the bucket. After I dip out and fill a gallon jug, I will add more to both LS.
Im hoping this will take care of the problem. Its my own fault I think. I have been noticing that the Lemon Skunks have been lacking in something. I was thinking N,but now not so sure. maybe both. Anyway. I will take some more pics when I feed tomorrow. If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge on my current problem. Please let me know. Till then,

I would say if that lady is crowning then prob stop grow n just do bloom but I'm not familiar with those nutes
