Yeah man, sometimes you just gotta ask. :thumb: I read some good stuff about their product. So, I fired off an email to the owner, I saw him list it on a website, and next thing you know I got two bottles! Been reading their blog from their website and I like their attitude.

I'll try it, why not?

She's riding solo (not to be confused with hen solo) for the next week or so...

Amazing how light they are in only ten hours,, out of the tent, and into the dark to hang for a week.

:thanks:

Thank you, paddy, wish I could have some with u!

As excited as I was to chop and feel the weight of the buds in my hands. I wanted to see what was going on inside those smart pots. I worked at a nursery years ago that I was trying to buy, and the owner was very fond of cloth pots.

I can see why. I'll be ordering seven gallon ones for my summer grows today.

That soil will be worked on, tuned up.. cooked, and used this summer on some autos.

Considering that plant I chopped last night lived in soil, in that bag, for 112 days is amazing when you get to look under the hood. No roots balled up,, thick dense root network, just awesome gear those smart pots are!

Pictures always talk better then words:

nice meds pete :thumb:

You'll get roughly 20% once dry after 10+ days of hanging they can feel like air.

Are you planning on a dedicated drying area coming up?

Congratulations Pete. Now wait till we get our co journal rocking.

Thanks bro, was a fun night,, and even better seeing that smart pot removed this morning,, very impressed.

Yeah, have not weighed yet, I don't want to bother really, I know it's going to be a false read.

Yes, I want a dedicated area, and will work that out,, any suggestions I'm all ears,, it's probably going in my basement.

I'm super excited to get another grow going. And the one we are doing is going to be sweet. I was able to locate a nice A frame structure today that will make a sweet greenhouse. I was searching out polycarbonate panels last night.....

I think your idea of vegging all summer is perfect. I can knock out some autos this summer while those are vegging. Thinking I might drop one Afghani. I'm ordering five seven gallon smart pots anyway. I got some Rock Phosphate yesterday at nursery,, think I'm going to add a lil to my soil that's cooking.....

I have a salsa in a box, almost mailed it yesterday but I ran out of time....

Yeah I got 3 smart pots in my garden. I'm not a fan of them when it comes to moving them. The soil tends to crack and bustle after transplanting. At least for a week so it's rough to move them around if needed. I wish there pots were less pliable

I prefer standard 7 gallons nursery pots but wanted to try both with high brix so I pulled them back out and gave them a second try.

If you have room just build a Lil 6x6 room and hang lines place a small heater, oscillating fan and a dehumidifier those are all things I have in my drying room and drying closets.

I agree on moving them,, that is why those two SCROG plants became SCROGs... I wasn't planning that, I was going to tie and train branches. (I requested a thread title change to reflect the SCROG) But, after moving around those pots I noticed the same thing. So, I threw them in those milk crates,, and the rest is history.

Dutty, do you use that pink carriage to bring your plants to that drying area? Inquiring minds need to know.... ;)

Such a softy....

You should come to Boston this summer, catch a game in Fenway, my treat, and build that closet for me ;)

It you make it out here you won't need me to do it. You will see it all with your own eyes. Never been back east. Wife and daughter and I might do a road trip this summer. We are trading our gas hog escalde in this week I believe. Got to add a 1000$ though. New suv is turbo and matches my car brand wise so a road trip is called for.

If you hadn't spent that grand at the corner store, getting that new light,, you'd have it already,,.lol.

I figured you have a Lear anyway.

I'm working on that trip, that reminds me...
