The buds for Plant1 and Plant3 look good, but they're definitely not dense like my first grow (bag seed). So not sure if that's the genetics or I messed up some how. Though I have stronger lights than I did with my first bag seed grow. I have lowered the lights to 18-20" away.

LOL Thanks Lord, but definitely not a professional, this is only my second grow. But I am a lover of the magical plant since forever ago. lol I almost dried out all the buds on one of the plants, passing way over my harvest window. lol But I am learning after each annoying mistake. I will post final dry weight when they hit 62% on the hygrometer. I have one more Lemon plant to harvest too, but she needs at least another week.

10/8/16 Week 14 Flowering Day 50 - Plant2 is doing well, smells good. Not much cloudiness to the trichomes. Though I have seen 1 or 2 very faint amber trichs. I will probably harvest at the end of the week I did a flush today, and will be giving Week9 of the nutes schedule for 2 more days, then I will do a ph flush for a few days before harvesting.

Plant1 Harvest is doing well drying/curing, Jar humidity is 64% Will post weight when it hit 62%

10/9/16 - Well Plant1 has been cured to 62% as of tonight since the buds were dried and jarred on 10/2/16. I will be curing for another 5-6 weeks minimum. Smoke test will be posted soon. I am happy to say that I met my goal which was 2oz per plant. I don't think I made that with my other plants, but this one did meet my goal. So I'm happy, even though I over harvested the buds a bit. I will post dried weight for Plant3 when it reaches 62% in the jar.

Wet weight was: 262.23g
Dried weight @62%: 62.15g or 2.19oz

For shits and giggles I weighed at different moisture levels:
dried weight @ 67% was 63.63g
dried weight @ 64% was 62.87g

10/10/16 Week 14 Flowering Day 52 - I have decided to do a staggered harvest on Plant2. I cut the 5 top branches and fed the rest of the plant nute water and placed back under the lights. Hoping the rest of the lower buds will fatten up after another week or two hopefully. I didn't have everything I needed to wash the buds, but I did do a thorough rinsing in 5 gals of room temperature water after trimming. I grow indoors and my grow area is immaculate so there wasn't any dirt per se left in the water, just bits of trimmed leaves. This plant is filled with crystals all over her, none of which seems to have fallen off after a good 3 minutes of vigorously dipping in and out, shaken and swirled in water. Can't wait to vape this plant.

10/12/16 - Plant2 has been dried a bit, and jarred as of today. Weight Wet: 46.86g @ 83% Humidity. I will harvest the rest of the plant when the buds get a bit bigger.

10/15/16 Week 15 Flowering Day 57- The second part of Plant2 is doing well after the first part of the harvest last week of all the top colas. I have placed bamboo sticks so the buds stand straight up and even to meet the light. She doesn't seem to be drinking a lot, I'm finding her pot a bit heavy every morning. So starting tomorrow I will start flushing her to be harvested sometime this week. She's mostly clear with faint milkiness and one or two very faint amber triches (which seems to be the norm for the genetics).

The first part of Plant2 that was harvested last week and jarred is doing well it's currently at 68% will post dry weight once it hits 62%

10/18/16 Week 15 Flowering Day 60 - Second Harvest Day, I cut the rest of the plant today. They definitely got bigger, so I will definitely be doing staggered harvests when needed. I decided to wash all the buds. I used 3 buckets. First bucket I did baking soda and lemon juice in bucket one, and 2 rinsing buckets. I did not use peroxide since it's an indoor grow with no health issues. After vigorous dipping, shaking, swirling in each bucket mostly trim leaves were in the bucket. They're hanging up to dry.

Wanted to post the comparison pics of the staggered harvest. I cut all the top colas from the plant for the first harvest. I let the rest of the plant continue to cook for another week so the lower buds would develop more.

10/24/16 - I finally have the dry weight for Plant2, which was the one I did a staggered harvest on. I did make my goal of 2oz on this plant, though I don't think I would've hit 2oz if I didn't do a staggered harvest.

Dry weight: @ 62% is 61.22g or 2.15oz


For shits and giggles I weighed it at different moisture levels. (Both Jars are for Plant2)
First Harvested Jar:
37.68g @ 66%
37.29g @ 64%
37.10g @ 62%

Second Harvested Jar:
31.96g @ 89% (when it was first jarred)
26.50g @ 84%
24.85g @ 71%
24.12g @ 62%

10/25/16 - I finally have the dry weight for Plant3, I did not make my 2oz goal, unfortunately. I probably should've done a staggered harvest for this one too.

how can you test moisture level?

By placing a hygrometer in the container and measuring the relative humidity. She is measuring the equilibrium weight (sort of) at a specified humidity level.
