10/9/16 Week 14 Flowering Day 37 - She's handling the light well after being lowered.

10/15/16 Week 15 Flowering Day 43 - Her leaves are starting to get a little yellow on the tips. Her trichomes are getting a bit cloudy and a couple of Ambers are showing. It looks like I'll get something to harvest, but certainly not more than the Raspberry Cough I did in coco/perlite mix. The buds are not big at all, and not bigger than the other plant either. So not sure I'm crazy about this mainlining effort. It took very long to do and didn't get more more weight or buds than my other Raspberry Cough. Now I did make a lot of mistakes, so I'm willing to try this method again.

:thanks: MiOutdoorsman, I appreciate that. It's been a true learning experience. Not one of my best. lol

This is a really cool grow

Wow, that's some serious defoliation! Seems like a lot, hope it works out, you seem to be getting it all right so far.

Yea Willy, I definitely think I fucked up. lol I removed the bottom nodes that I probably shouldn't have. This plant doesn't produce big colas. They're finger like, so I think I did a disservice by removing the lower nodes. lol This was my first mainlining attempt, so this was definitely a research/learning experience that went awry. lol Will learn from my mistakes and try it again.

Thankyou Bob, have you used KindSoil before? Have you use nutrients with it? I know about Dyno Gro, I used it for my first soil grow, but KindSoil directions states not to use any nutrients with it. So not sure what to do.

Sorry for the late reply.. Don't know anything about KindSoil... you can use the Pro-tekt as a foiler ... for sure can't hurt. Can't see why it wouldn't work with any soil really.

Ladies looking good - KIG!

I took a look at Kindsoil... first thing that raised my eyebrows was this:

"We don't recommend using R/O water..."

^^^ That goes against what I know about indoor container gardening!

Recommending filtered tap water or well water instead.....

My take is this:

You don't know what chemicals and the PH of either tap water (filtered or not) and specially well water so why recommend them and specifically to NOT use RO water?

With RO water we know exactly whats in RO water (H2O only) and the PH (not that I care about PH). Tap water and specially well water is a guess unless you have it tested or can get test results from you local water authority. Try drinking RO water side by side with whatever water you are using to water in.... draw conclusion.

I recommend using this soil amendment kit:

BuildASoil Complete Soil Building Kit - BuildASoil

That's what I use ... have been using this mix or my own version with what I can source locally.

Thank you Bob, but I'm probably not going to use this soil again. I have also noticed more leaves starting to turn yellowish. The soil is too expensive for many grows as well. I've decided on doing auto-pots with SoHum los. I might do a Top-Fed DWC as well. I did wind up adding a tiny bit of Bloom and Grow nutes today, so we'll see if that helps at all. But almost done with this grow, and definitely won't be working with this soil again.

Hey NU .... I never sweat yellow leaves in flower... its all good, the goal is buds ...

Here's my oldest lady in flower right now at 30ish days... yellow/orange on the big fans! I expect to see this. They will eventually fall off - to be replaced by the next big fans that will eventually feed the final finished flowers.

:thumb: Your ladies look great to me...

PLEASE NOTE The above post #93 needs to be deleted. It was posted to the wrong journal. It's was meant to be posted in my Raspberry Cough Soilless Journal.

Sorry for the confusion

11/3/16 Week 18 Flowering Day 62 (from seed) - Her trichomes are more cloudy and a few more Ambers are showing. The buds are starting to fatten up, some buds seems to be forming out of the buds too. Today is 9 weeks since I switch to flowering on 9/2nd. This strain is to flower between 9-11 weeks. So I believe I'm right on track and she's looking good, again she smells like orange peel not like raspberry at all, but the orange smell is amazing. I've lifted the light 2" just to make sure it's not the light stressing her out and forming bud oddities with the buds growing out of the bud. The bud hairs are definitely darker and curled in. I'm going to wait for some more ambers to show than I'm going to harvest.

Here's some bud porn

Thanks Mi, I'm newbie female grower, this is my second grow that I have harvesting at different times. I appreciate the encouragement. :)

11/5/16 Week 19 Flower Day 64 - Scratch that its Harvest Day. lol I took one look at her and she looked done. lol She did not look happy all of a sudden. She was slightly droopy today and the tops were starting to feel a bit crisp. I was happy with the amount of ambers showing as well maybe about 30-40%. I washed her in 3 buckets using the baking soda lemon juice method, with distilled water. She's now hanging up to dry.

And Here's the Bud Porn:
