If I understand correctly, the dwarf star is the ps500 replacement or upgraded model if you will. the ps500 is no longer available since the dwarf star is a better light for about the same price. Not sure the exact details of why its better though.

How many plants will you be growing and in what type of medium and for how long will you veg them to get 3?

The Dwarf Star gives slightly better yields. The 500 will be available again for the UK market because it is lighter and cheaper to ship there.

I do have a limited supply left of 500s for here in the US.

I just wanted to pop in and say my plants love the dwarf star spectrum. I am noticing accelerated growth since switching from my other leds and them not being blurple makes it so much easier to tell whats going on.

Hi all - I hope this isn't a total newb question, but I am looking at LED systems for an upcoming grow. I have a 3x3x6 grow tent that I need to use from start to finish (space constraints). In looking at the Perfect Sun site, I see they have several different sizes designed for different grow areas. Does it make more sense for me to buy two smaller light systems or one large one for my space? I don't anticipate having more than 2 plants at a time that will go start to finish in parallel.

As the creator of the lights, I would personally go with the COB for max yield in that space. But a Dwarf Star will get you around 11oz.

But at 6 feet high, you will need to keep plants short.

I'd like to share a few plants I have grown/ growing under the Perfect Sun Dwarf Star along with a COB I built and some plants I'm currently vegging under the Perfect Sun COB led.
I really like this new COB led it covers a 4'x5' with no problem at all. Love that there is three light settings and most of all, it has the Perfect Sun spectrum with the edition of Cree COB's. Did I mention it's an awesome light?
