Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

October 6th, Daily Update

My lady hug is officially deceased, I found her belly up on the media from Debbie. Too bad for my pest free environment, I was happy to have a guest in the garden. Wish I could get a praying mantis, but I wouldn't want to introduce food for it in the tent. I powered up the second led panel in the Vegetating Tent (864w Twilight Group Led). The white Widow autos are all about to pop through the soiless media. I did a little investigating and found I had buried them to deep, or that they sunk further down when I applied water to them. One was almost 2 inches down and was unfurled, I've ensured all will breach the soil today or tomorrow. Clones have not changed, still droopy... Let's take a look inside

Notes ~
Marge made a good Chunk of Progress over the past days. I've been tucking growth shoots under one another creating a weave of shoots. I'm basically trying to slow them down so the main stem can Continue will full energies. Maude is visibly a week behind the other two. Her training is all squared up, almost time to let her rise. Marylou and Felicity are ready for the flip. They've reached the edge of their pots and I'll let them make the first turn upward then send into flower.

Notes ~
Debbie is heavy in weight, she'll be ready mid week next week. Amber is taking over quickly, I put her at 15-20% all over except the popcorn. Crystal went dark this afternoon and will be harvested on Saturday morning. Bailey is packing on lots of white pistils still, I've started taking out dead and dying foliage from within the buds. It's my belief that this strain is susceptible to mold and decaying calyxes. Hailey is still not really forming any real buds, it's very disappointing to see. As an auto she is on track for 150 days... Ridiculous. Don't know what to say, I just hope she get some girth on her Colas.

That's another update for the record, thanks for taking in the sites...

October 9th,Daily Update

Hope you're all having a good long weekend, happy Thanksgiving to the Canadian folks. I've been busy harvesting Crystal my white Widow automatic. Quite a big harvest for am auto, nice big stalks laden with buds.

I'll fill you all in on the harvest weight for this wonderful smelling plant. Easy to grow and very nice bud production. This is what led me to sowing 6 of these seeds to follow up this beauty. So far I've got all 6 sprouted, but one is not making progress. It was the helmeteer, I had to remove her lid, and may have done some damage. I'll let it be for a couple days and see, I think I see leaves within growing but it's too tiny to be sure. Let's get to the regular programming, how are the girls doing today.

All three big girls entered 12/12 yesterday, let the flowering begin. Every stake has been re checked and adjusted. It's time to let these girls go vertical. Marge had become root bound and/or had Ph issues. I made a transplant into larger pot with fresh media. She's on the home stretch of her first lap.

Make your stay here count, never know when it will come to an end. :ciao: Heirloom

Man, Crystal sure is a looker! Congrats on that brother, seems like you treated her well and she thanked you for it. Sorry to hear about the helmeteer. I have had that happen to me as well, although I can usually pluck them off without any adverse effects. I wet it down a bit with some water and then take my trusty pointy tipped Revlon tweezers and get that thing right off. Some say if you plant the beans further down it helps with that, I started planting a little deeper and so far I have to agree. The girls are looking good, it's always a treat to see the extreme bondage you put them under. Keep it up!

You know I'm there! Awesome idea brother... Can't wait to see 20 cups full of green.

Well I figured out the problem snid. I didn't have your journal subbed. My apologies man I swore I did it, still learning to navigate the site. WOW this is packed with references I can go back too and the plants look great! Thanks brother!
Regardless of whether or not you subbed before, I'm super happy to have you here in the garden. Not going to be any hurricanes around here, so it's a little more boring but filled with great info and awesome folks's ideas and advice. Here I've been on this for too long, :passitleft: pass it to Brixnewbie when you're done.

Thanks a bundle Brixnewbie, I've grown this white Widow twice now and it's a very good smoke and easy to grow. Those five or six sprouts are all the same as her. :thumb: I laughed when I read "helmeteer" lol I love when made up words make it work... I'll be keeping it green for when you visit next, thanks for the support brother :)

Girls are looking great Snid, that WW looks like a great haul :bravo:
Thanks Dirt, she's going to be a great smoke for sure. My hopes are for 3oz but I'd settle for 2oz of this bud. Let you know the dry weight next daily update. Till next time, :Namaste:

Happy thanksGIVING Snid! May feathers surround you with the beauty of our winged creatures and may your green palace surround you with a horn of plenty. 420 hugs!
;)
Sure glad Crystal is treating you well, thinking I may go that route considering how much easier it is to grow than purple kush.
If your interested it's white Widow Auto from - - - pm Mr for a link. A good auto strain that veges for at least 4 weeks and it's nice sticky lemony smoke. Another option is the northern lights from cropking. A great auto and easy to grow as well. Both are very trainable.
A happy Thanksgiving to you my dear, just got back from the family dinner. Mmm good eatin's... Hope yours was enjoyable, filled with love and laughter. thank you G2heal :circle-of-love:

I'll second the trainability of WW, as long as you get them early. Wait too long and those stems will make you pay! I grow photos, not autos, so not exactly same. But they fit under scrog and held shape throughout. One of most trouble-free plants I grow, and my favorite high.

Oh, and hi Snid! Great stuff as always!

Cold days around my neck of the Woods. Furnace has been ignited. Brrr... This will help keep Humidity down some. I've got the total dry weight from Crystal the white Widow auto. Total dry weight = 79g @ ≠55% Rh. It dried a little quick so it smells hayish a little. But a few weeks in the jars ought to take care of that. Debbie is being harvested tonight, will update that later. For now let's take a look what we've got in the lab. Here's the nursery pictures for their namesakes.

I'll let her strive to live and see what happens over the next couple days. But as far as the others go, it's smooth sailing. A few stem wiggles daily and these gals are good to go.

Notes ~
As I mentioned Debbie is being harvested tonight, pictures shown are from Sunday. Bailey is not browning her pistols much, all I see is white hairs everywhere. I've installed a fan directly in her pot blowing up into her canopy, not taking any chances with mold. Every day I've been inspecting and removing any dead foliage from within the buds. Hailey is still a disappointment, not much happening for the bottom foot of her stalks. Single calyxes galore with a few dying pistils. Up top is getting a little better, but the buds aren't forming at all. If I didn't grow for the past 111 days I'd scrap her, but now it's just getting her to finish before 150 days goes by... Ridiculous

No pistils yet.

October 13th, Daily Update

Fall is in the air, furnace is still on since nightime temps are near zero. Humidity is down for now, but I've got a few days a steady rain ahead. I finally made some CBD brownies for my sister, mom and coworker. I calculated the dose at about 30mg per brownie. It had noticeable effect on my Coworker, a little light headed but mostly a nice narcotic body buzz and the Sleep issues resolved. I'm hoping a report of less joint pain in the next week's if they continue to take their medicine every couple days. My sis is all for it, her ms has relapsed again in the last few weeks and she doesn't get much advice or help from the doctors. So this is one thing I can do for her, it can't hurt or make things worse... As for me I've tried them too, not too strong since I'm a regular user. But my ankle pain does seem better, could just be coincidental though. I had another night of trimming buds, Debbie got the chop last night. Here's a couple pics, check out those trichomes.

My Diesel Berry harvest from last night. They're great big buds with two dingle berries, honestly they look like... You know... Wink Wink. Anywho, these buds have some of the frostiest sugar leaves I've ever seen. The trichomes literally look like they're jumping off the leaves. This is a small harvest but I'm still hopeful for 1.5oz. Not bad for 75 days growth. Let's check out the living, here's today's pics.

Notes ~
The unnamed sprout is the same age as the others, it just stopped growing after I removed her helmet. But over the last couple days I've noticed the inner leaves have grown up to 3mm. I've not given up hope for this one, but I don't name it if it's not a confirmed sprout. The rest of the gang is doing well, I've been squirting water about 2" away around the sprout. Today they got a small helping of root tribe and b52 plus calmag and silica, maybe 1/2 a cup for each seedling. Bailey has started to turn some pistils brown, I really would like to harvest her within 2 weeks. Hailey on the other hand, may not be done for weeks and weeks.

Marge has continuing issues with her leaves, I think it might be from the stakes damaging them in there infancy. She is making good daily progress now, almost a full node per day. I've subjugated the secondary growth into a a twisted jumble of intertwined shoots, by tucking one under the next. Maude got her full feed of initial bloom nutes. Root tribe at full strength, bud ignitor and the everyday supplements. Her four main stalks are going to be big, if her early growth is any indication of what's to come. No pistils to be found on all three ladies. Felicity's hue is fading in her new leaves, I'm hoping this feeding gets her lush again. Marylou my prized cheese plant, she is looking just great. Quite the Stinky Odor already, can't wait for some cheesy buds.

Another day, Another update... Thanks for the support and kind words.
