Vero 29's I just bought 7 more off eBay. Some guy in Denver is selling them for $14 each. That's half price so I scooped them up.
Gonna be 10 COBs in that tent pushing around 90,000 lumens.

Well if you go on eBay and search Vero 29 you'll find em. They're 1/4 of the price of Cree. Cree is like nike. You're paying for the brand name.

You can drive 5 Vero 29's on a HLG-185h-c1050a for $54.00 USD. Best thing about the Vero is you don't have to solder. Just buy the Pico EZ mate molex connectors for $2.00 each. The snap on.
5 COBs on 1 driver is about as cheap vs efficient as you're going to get. That will give to 45w per cob which means you'll use less power and can use cheaper, smaller heatsinks. The 120mm heatsinks are $14 each bringing the whole build to $200 USD. The same build costs $579.00 at timber and only has 4 COBs.
So, major deal on a 225w system that outperforms a 400w HPS.
