Looking good man, sorry to hear about the roots, but I'm sure they will make a recovery. You probably have a better water pump then me but mine heats the shit out of my rez boosting my rez temps so I took it out. How big is your air stone? Mine seems to be sufficient but Im also in a 5g bucket not a rubber maid. If you figure out the netting i would enjoy some pictures I think it would be hard to scrog a DWC without a rez. As i am trying to figure out what technique to go with as well.

Here you are Albatross just finished this up. I used pvc pipe for the frame and just some cotton twine for the grid and super glue to hold the twine. I built it a little tall so I might have to wait a few days to put it around the plants

Well I built it a little to wide but I figured that out last night. My light raises easily I can rotate and slide the whole thing out with the res. I was also thinking about just suspending the net from my light so raising the light will raise the netting as well. I have never done this with a grow so I'm interested in seeing how it will work.

Ok today is Updated day! I have been flowering since March 4th, with minor set backs nothing too bad though. First up we got the roots, they were looking really bad after get trimmed and experiencing root rot for the first time and hopefully only time.

now the set up with extra lights. I'm up to 376watts all fluorescent. In the picture one 80watt bulb is out side the picture the other 80watt is on the other side of the the plants

Finally a little bud porn. The DIY net is working alright, not to difficult to remove some what difficult to put back on. Tell me what you think.

That strain name is really starting to show. Sunday the 15th will be the beginning of the 6th week of flower. Threw another 42 watt in there for a new total of 418watts.

Thanks man. Yea I'm still using the screen. It really didn't stop the main cola that much but the other branches are getting closer to the top. I raised the screen hoping to buy the other branches more time to get up there. I think I should of started using it sooner and made smaller squares on the grid.
On another note the smell is so fruity. I'm expecting another 6 weeks maybe 8 till they are what I call done like around 80% amber cones. White Widow with an Indica twist. Thanks again Albatross

So in just 3 days the crystals have become so much more noticeable and the aromas are amazing. I can take some more pics tonight but it won't be till after 1 am when the lights come on.

Wow nice grow, my plants are the same age as your plants. mine germinated 2/11, but the difference is amazing. it's back to the drawing-board for me to figure out what i'm doing wrong.
guess i should have started the flowering cycle a lot sooner,i'm 16 days into it with the smaller of the 2 and 4 days with the bigger. with only a few pre-flowers on the smaller plant.

I wish I had space to veg longer, but my father grows and he tells me,"yea you can grow trees and get lots of weed takes a long time and a lot of space." He flowers his clones from the time they take root. He grows 8 plants at a time in one 1 gallon rubber made tube and gets an ounces per plant. Which an ounce is probably what I will get from one of these, my dad grows in a fraction of the space I do too. My only point is just wait till yours get 6 weeks into flower and then we can compare Keep on keeping on

hey im new and from reading you journal i think i fucked up im a forst time grower and man my roots ismt white like theh use to be my plants lemon skunk nd kush are both almost 2ft i been growing em since feb and im JUST now flowering smfh i get told all typa info it confuses me, i can see lil buds all over my plant and i just pulled all fan leaves off will my plant die im only using 3cfls 75watts a piece is that even enough??? i canr see no crystals !!! > im using a 16g tub with 4 slot but im only usong 2 and my small tub is 3g with my baby afghan and random seed

I have to get out of my old outdoor growing habits, i'm used to growing plants that were 6-7 feet tall. my next grow will be better thanks to what i've learned here on 420...just think a year ago i didn't even realize it was possible to grow under CFL's, so i owe it all VP. Al Gore for inventing the interweb...lol lot's of luck with your harvest

Idk when i can switch mine my plants have been under 135wtts about 2 inches the whole time and it was just growing new node points and not out or up lol which is cool untill you can barely find the stem, so I lsted it, its looking alot better, I was thinking i may throw it on the earlier side like you did. Im sure ill figure it out within the week and let you know. Any idea what your ppm was when you threw them over?

No sir I don't own a ppm meter but really should invest in one as well as a digital pH meter but can't really afford them. I do know that I just kept feeding them like normal till they showed sex and then gave them a small dose of bloom increasing with each rez change.
