They are ridiculously priced. The big ones are $3k here They really need to rethink their pricing, or cobs will take them out. They are amazing lights. Very bright with a spectrum that plants dig.

I think i said before that I'm only growing 2 plants now. They are 57 days old. Been in flower for just a few days, so no growth spurt yet. Take a look at the density of the growth and stem size. These aren't the greatest pic to show the tops as many were just tucked. Not record breaking plants, but strong with a positive future. These lights take credit.

To be honest, i really dont know much about the budget fixtures. I do know they are hit and miss. Yeah I know there is a lot of construction going on with this forum. They have a bunch of things to fix... But this never was the smoothest running forum out there.

Back to budget lights. Last year when I was in the middle of my first indoor grow I bought a KingPlus 800 watt then a couple weeks later I picked up a BestVA 1000 watt. They both work pretty good as far as I'm concerned. They were both around $130.00. I'm not sure how they stack up against the more expensive LED's. Although I would guess that the more you spend, the better lights you get. But they are a lot better than the CFL's I was using. And the CFL's weren't bad either. They were the big giant 250 watt CFL's that came with the first 3x3 tent kit that I ordered online.

The main thing I noticed with the LED's over the CFL's was the inter nodal spacing. It tightened up a lot with the LED's.

There isn't one cheap LED light that will cover a 4x4 evenly. You should get four cheap, small LED lights - one for each quadrant of the 4x4.
Maybe four of these? Mars , Led grow light , Mars Hydro
Would be 680w for $600. And your 4x4 would be very well, evenly lit.
I did that for my 5x5 tent and wow I think I broke some records on 4 autoflowers
