ok so figured id put up my three biggest veg girls i have going right now and will be flipping in prolly a week for the 2 pineapple kush skunk and maybe a week later for the kali mist it just depends how long it takes her to grow she has recovered from my fimming i messed up on a few of the cuts and went to low lol so she had a few days where she was down 4 the count and healing but now she is starting to get taller again so its back on lol but yea up first ill show my 2 pineapple kush skunk

and then we got my kali mist clone im noticing that one of my other girls i have in veg and these 3 girls are all in same soil and all have this leaf curling and yellowing/browning alil bit going on and its my first batch of los mix so could my soil be tired and used up now is tht maybe what its from idk but yea here is my kali mist clone

Oh no what do those look like also is it in the soil or on the leaf cuz i sent 2 hours 2day lookn over the 2pineapple kush leaves and I cudnt find any bugs and I have a 60x loupe so i think i should be good it works to see when I have spidermites so if there smaller then those then we might have a problem lol

They are a bit smaller, but I saw them with my 60x. A little clearer on the 120x of course. I saw them when they were in a immature stage, so they were like little larvae wriggling around. I noticed a brownish dust on a wound of one plant I badly super-cropped. I'd been foliar spraying too and noticed a little concentration of it at the tip of one leaf, popped it under my scope, and it was like a bunch of little white piglets squirming around.

Whoops I just remembered probably can't link to other grow places... Google russet mite larvae and hit the picture section, you'll see what I mean.

ok so for alil bit of a harvest bud porn show off lol here is my pineapple skunk that started to go amber on me fairly soon so i didnt get to let her go as long as i wanted and let her foxtail out like i had hoped but still some a-plus meds for sure she was only put in on october 2nd but i messed up and accidently gave her some malted grain teas normally i just give them 2 doses of malted grain teas during flower since it speeds up growth i dont wana lose out to much of my flower time n end up with this problem of not getting that last week r so to fatten them up normally i hit them right wen i flip them unless they a heavey indica and long flower time i might give those girls 3 or 4 depending how much time i have but yea i accidently gave her more then i wanted i guess cause i ran into this issue but still she turned out to be some really good meds got her hanging on the line drying as we speak

Those buds look stacked up fine to me. Don't get greedy. Let them go too long and if it's humid you can get mold. So for me, those flowers look PRRRRRRR-FECT. Chop chop.. congrats on your harvest!

Yup its the Los mix n dnt wry i already got her chopped n jarred nw n i think i did enter her into one of the contests this month or maybe it is afrodite lol i cant remember but it was one of them but yea now im tryn to go for more tree like plants instead of the Bushes ive been growing I feel I got the lst and hst training down pat and can make a pretty nice bush when needed but this not the 70's no more lmao so I wana get more of a nice lookn tree plus it's more of yield so I win both ways haha but yea my two pineapple kush skunk and my kali mist clones all kinda have this leaf curl and yellow/browning issue going on n i noticed they all r in my older soil and now my newer girl tht i jus uppotted is in tht soil and she has tht curl browning deal going on as well cud tht be from used up soil is my soil dead lol dead soil sounds funny but it really isn't i hate seeing a sad girl in my garden i hurt when they hurt lol

I always thought you got more yield with more training? I don't know, I've never really gone too crazy on training mine, but also haven't been that pleased with my yields. I blame my light though.

Oh yeah lights have a major role to play and yea once I got my 2 perfect sun dwarf stars and now my cob setups in my flower tent my yields have increased alot and yea training if done right can increase yields but I've been spending the last year and a half trying to learn these training methods and trying to find my grow style that fits me n my life the best ya no but yea I'd hate to see how my yields would be if I didn't have a trained plant lol cause I was usually getting about an ounce per plant now im getting 2 to 4 roughly so yea not to bad but cud be way better with the lights i have n everything

That's good man, sorry for the false alarm, but better safe than sorry!

I'm still trying to eek out 2 ounces per plant. Most of mine end up about 30-40 grams. But all I have is a 400 W HPS in a 4'x4' so I think that could have something to do with it. I've thought about getting a 3'x3' tent instead, but things are already cramped enough in a 3'x3'.

I have a living soil mix I'm trying out for the first time this run, but usually I have used Fox Farm's Happy Frog and various nutrients. First time around I used GH stuff, then I tried some EarthJuice, but the yields were pretty much the same.

Yea i get the kit from buildasoil.com its amazing never had better yields its jus plant water and go great setup it actually got to easy lol so i started to do a hydro of sorts grow I started doing hempy style along with my los mix and with my hydro girls i use remo nutes and man those nutes are bangin i havnt harvested any of my girls tht have been with the remo nutes so im not to sure on yields but I've seen people who have get great results and with how big my girls r gettn in veg im sure they will do great atleast i hope so hahaha

I'm looking more in the direction of my light from here. Saving up for a 315 W CMH to replace the 400 W HPS with.

I'm trying to move away from bottled nutrients, just because my medical needs make mixing nutrients up and stuff a nightmare so I just want something I can water and not have to worry about much else for. Hell even filling a jug with water and pouring it in a pot is hard enough some days.

This mix is something custom I whipped up because I didn't want to have to pay to have anything shipped. It's roughly 20% EWC, 30% Peatmoss, and 50% Perlite, and I put some azomite, Bio-Live and neem seed meal in as amendments. The Bio-Live is supposed to be basically "Everything you need in a box" and what makes it "living".

It's been okay, maybe a little hot, my leaf tips seem like they've been burned in it for a while. Someone told me it's a calcium deficiency. I'm still waiting to get sent off to a lab to have it analyzed.

Well that cmh bulb is for veg and the hps is for flower u should have one of each and if ur not doing a perpetual grow with a veg room/tent and a flower room/tent then u would need to switch out the bulb when u flip the plants

That's y i went with my cob setups and the perfect sun dwarf stars cause they are all spectrum lights meaning I can use them for both veg and flower altho some lights do better in veg versus flower and vice versa so jus gotta experiment if ur wanting to go cheaper leds but in the end can cost a pretty penny ive since learned that it's way better to jus save up and get the good lights it is actually cheaper in the end versus getting lights over and over again

I've found some conversion kits, meaning they have a simple 315 W CMH ballast, and an adapter where you can put the CMH lamp into a regular E39 base socket. So essentially you're just replacing your HPS/MH lamp and your HPS/MH ballast with CMH stuff. That kit costs $200 and comes with the Phillips 4200K spectrum bulb which has a hugely wide spectrum compared to most HPS. Here check this out...

The LEDs look interesting and all too but I am on way too limited an income to justify $500+ for a light even if I can save up for it ( over the year it would take haha ). So the $200 kit looks promising.

Yea i wudnt go with the mars 300 i got four that jus sit if u wana go with mars get atleast a reflector 96 but honestly I wud go another brand mars is pretty expensive 4 there gear that works lmao but yea don't u have to run an ac unit and a bunch of fans and everything to keep it cool enuf in there atleast i no i did wen I was running my hps altho i was in a trailer to lol so maybe tht had sumthn 2 do with it but yea up front cost is way more for led tech that's for sure i really wana get the perfect sun Goliath or there perfect sun cob setup i hear and see on you tube great things oh and I've been hearing alot in other people's journals bout these quantum boards which is a newer cob setup and also gives amazing results im just not good with electricty and with those cob setups it takes alil diy to put together it dont look to complicated but still I would rather get a plug and go unit or one of the cob setups allready setup only problem is like u mentioned i dnt got enuf cash right now to get it lol my dwarf stars were my biggest light purchases yet lol once I get a better grow area I mite try those quantum cob boards but 4 now im good with what I got
