Curing in Plastic?

I'm sure I've read here previously that some people cure weed in plastic buckets. Is anybody familiar?

I’m stuck on glass but Carcass had a blurb about curing in plastic other week.. Carcass cure in plastic

but yes others here use 5 gallon buckets & special screw on lids

I use turkey cooking bags when I have a lot to cure. It does a great job plus it is easier to fluff

Plastic works fine. Easier for larger quantities. As mentioned, turkey roasting bags work great.

I use plastic totes of various sizes, the 11L will hold up to a pound !

Makes it easy to "fluff", place another same size container on the top and flip the two over. The top buds become the bottom buds

I get a nice slow dry/cure if the container is at least 3/4 full....

Here's an automated system using 5 gallon buckets and an air pump for larger harvests.

If you use plastic make sure it is food grade. New storage totes can gas off and taint the buds. Don't know if it is a health issue but it can effect the flavor. I use 5 gal black food grade buckets to store future butter and hash mids and mason jars for smoking buds.
