No pics tonight. Had a bad Sunday. Got a call from a really close buddy of mine had 2 strokes last Sunday and didn't want me to be bothered. (and no, he's not okay. He's messed up) So I didn't hear about it till this Sunday. Then, as I was getting ready to feed the girls, my Morgan, love of my life, had a seizure and is now in the hospital with no movement in one of his hind legs. !'m so fucking bummed right now.
I didn't really want to write in here tonight, but I feel I have too. It's a mile stone for the grow. I popped the seeds July 4th and flipped the lights on tent 1 8/31/15. The day my best friend almost left me.

Made a new batch of nutes for flowering. (50 gal) Tonight's cocktail includes;
RO water
SNS209
CALiMAGic
Bio Root
Kool Bloom
Bud Candy > bringing us to a DTS of about 700
And bringing us up to 1140 TDS and a Ph of about 5.7, Flora Nova.

Tent 2 is still vegging away. still no light from Mars... Grrrrr
Switched the lighting to 12/12. 8 pm to 8 am. The days have been kinda hot here so my tents have been in the upper 80s. I'm hoping the night schedule will work well for me temp-wise. The room temp is 78f . Tent 2 is running @ 78, but Tent 1 is running @ 87f (2,400 watts cranking ) . Can't wait to see what Tent 2 does with another 720wt light when they are both on flower! Yikes! That SCROG is going to be something else. I wish I had kept it to 2 plants. Should have stuck to the IBs and LSTed the SCDs. Well, that's what it's all about. Learning.

Just a few quick pics. Some are really shitty. I tried a crappy camera instead of my phone. I have to invest in a good video camera soon. This sucks.

Anywho, added another Mars Hydro 720 watt unit to the scrog tent. This oughtta POP now! So here ya go;

Okay, I snapped a few more just before lights on in Tent 1 and just after. All you can see is lean and GREEN !!! A couple of the girls are about 16-18 inches tall. I felt it was time.

Excited to see how the LSD's turn out, running some Barneys Red Dragon right now.

I've personally never seen the roots grow out of smart pots, maybe I have had rooting issues in my last grow?

I'll tell ya, Strykr, the LSD are growing animals. I snipped and bent them all up and they just don't care. I'm definitely cloning them, the IBs and the SCD. Not sure what I'll do with them, but I'll work that out later.

The roots are wild, for sure! I tell you, Bio Root by General Organics has to take the credit there. Every pot I have is doing that. I'm bummed because now I wish I'd used 7-gallon pots instead. The best thing about that Bio Root, it adds next to 0 in the TDS. Well not much, anyway. This is only the second time I've grown in coco and the last girl, I didn't use Bio Root with. Did not get the roots growing through and I used a 3-gallon pot on her.

Very crowded, OMU. I think I overshot or under thought the plant spacing and numbers of plants. I'm at least 2 plants too many for the tents I have. Live and learn. But it's nice and green ​ in the tents.

Girls are fed and happy. Found another inchworm tonight. Let's see if it can grow a new tail. lol
Outdoor temps hit 95+ today. Room temp max today hit 86. Tent 1 got to 90 while tent 2 stayed at 86 also. It helps a lot when we get a breeze and I have some pretty big Maples for shade here. So I'm not getting BLASTED with heat. The 90 degrees it hit was only for an hour or so till I noticed and opened up some vents. Had a massive grasshopper land in my hair up here, while writing this. Bet they could do a number in a tent. Or maybe not. Never noticed them in past outdoor grows.

Anyway:
I'm less than happy with Nirvana Seeds at the moment. I had problems with 6 of 9 seeds that I started of theirs, and of the 9, 5 made it. One was totally my own fault, but the others were not. Of the 5, 1 is this BBL - weirdo.Two others were the SCDs that barely made it to veg. You remember, had to prop up the stocks. Well, as a result of some emails back and forth, they graciously gave me a $20. voucher. Fine. I ordered more seeds from them. The twenty bucks + maybe another 75 or so. Well, that was Agust 3. So I went online to check my order status. They show it paid.......packaged.......and sitting in limbo because they want me to send the a picture of my credit card to prove it's mine. Mind you, it's NOT my first purchase from them with this card. Hummmmmmm. WHAT THE FUCK. ???? And no email to say anything about this. Last email I got from them was ------->> paid and shipping.........

I was doing a bunch of undergrowth trimming tonight and took a good look at Weirdo again. I don't think this thing is even going to put out buds. The leaf structure is so bizaar, that I can't determine if anything is going on in there. If she starts taking up more room than she's worth, I'll toss her out.


So. That's what's going on in my grow life. My personal life, unlike my tents, is a constant wreck.

I just saw him at the vets. He's going to spend one more night there. He's walking on all 4 legs now but doesn't have complete control of it yet. He's tiered, but was in great spirits and giving his paw at anyone that he could. He's the same 'Ol Morgan. The MRI has to be seen by a radiologist tomorrow to see if they can spot some pinched nerve or something, I should be bringing him home for the weekend. smile emoticon
Another hurdle - crossed. Screw you life, we win again!

Women come and go, but my dog is my life-long friend. It's a huge weight off my mind that he's pulling through this.

Be careful what you wish for, lexblaze,you just might get it! lol. I thought I was happy till they started filling it up. Now I'm bummed I put so many in or didn't get a bigger tent. (hence the reason for "Tent 2". lol)

Well, I mixed a new batch of nutes for the girls 2 nights ago and I brought the TDS up to about 1300 from 1160- 1170 TDS. The girls don't like that much. I got a slight, slight burn on a few fan leaf tips. Tonight I brought it back down to where I had it and gave them all a generous watering with it.
I have noticed this happening more and more to a few leafs. Any ideas? I know I have a moth problem that I'm fighting with bug strips and electric fly swatters, but it's a loosing battle.

I added a Platinum LED P-300 light to the SCROG tent to try and coax a little quicker veg growth on the IBs. Shifted the Mars 720s left and right and filled a void with what I had. The IBs are coming along much slower than the SCD. I'm kicking myself for not having done this scrog with a single plant. That SCD is an easy to train, growing monster!

Hopefully, I'll be able to fill that scrog up now. Getting late in the year to be screwing around.


I have hairs on the SCDs in Tent 1! Too bad they are skinny, little things.

As a parting gift; a couple of the rooms for the night.

Footnote: Grasshoppers are damn neer inpossible to see in a full tent. I've found and re-homed 2 so far. Hope I don't get those critters running around in there!!!

Hey McCDive, plants are looking good. Glad you decided to see how the weirdo leafs turn out by just letting them go. Some of that damage to your leaves looks like pest damage. I got to turn in due to a heavy work load tomorrow, but I will do some investigating and see if I can throw any more ideas about that damage. Laters!

Welp. Decided to give the weirdo BBL the axe tonight. 8 in the tent is more than enough. I took a look at her and there was just no way she was ever going to bud. Thanks again, Nirvana seeds. (yes, the battle goes on) A few of weirdo:

I just had to cut my losses. So I'm down to one Bubblicious now and she is hitting it hard! Trying to make up for that miserable sister of hers.

Found another of these tonight. He was a little easier to spot.

I came up into the room and found this tonight

The SCD on this side of tent1 is growing at a rate of 3 inches a day for the last 2 days. this thing is going to outgrow my tent at this rate.
So this sent me into a panic, sortta. I'm looking at tent 2 and the SCD in there is at 16-17" at the highest. Well, I flipped the lights. I would love to have spent more time veging, but time is not on my side here. A few of tent 2:

And lastly, a little thing that sprung up 3-4 days ago. Whatever it is, it's taking 1170 TDS 5.7 nutes directly and seems to like it! For an inert fiber like coco is, I'm dying to see what this turns into!
