Hey McCDive, plants are looking good. Glad you decided to see how the weirdo leafs turn out by just letting them go. Some of that damage to your leaves looks like pest damage. I got to turn in due to a heavy workload tomorrow, but I will do some investigating and see if I can throw any more ideas about that damage. Laters!

I call this a budget clone box. Works great! Set everything up on timers and heat controls and we're good to go. The box is empty now, but it was never intended for a 5-gallon pot. Pictured is 3-gallon pot. (I'm smoking her as I write. lol Henryetta, was her name - Pineapple Chunk) But I already had weirdo under 12/12 bloom lights. Don't think she'll survive that. She had what looked like some pistols forming.

I'm all for live and let live, but quality and space comes first. Bummer.

The following is a copy of a post I put on the Pest forum this morning:

Hi all. I'm having an issue with my leafs. Getting spots and holes.....
I'm growing in coco and perlite. 4x8 tent. 8 girls. 2 weeks into bloom. There are spots showing up on the leafs. Started very slowly, and has hit a few leafs on all the girls. I wasn't worried too much about it early on, but it's getting worse. I have a few pics of the damage and of some moths that are growing in numbers.......do I see a coalation here??

I've put up fly strips in the tent, and I search them out and kill them, but they alway come back. No way to really get them all.
I have some help from the locals here. These two couples have found their way into the tent.

I have had a small small issue with inch worms. I found 3 in 2 weeks. None for a week - ten days. I have found and removed 2 grasshoppers in the last week or so.

Am I missing something obvious here??

Those inch worms are probably from the moths McC.

Any bugs other than spiders or ladybugs are the enemy and must be wiped out immediately!

Hi Dusty! Welcome back! Glad to see you're you're still around. Pakkanova, who was following along with my last grow, has disappeared. He sent me a PM a couple months ago and I replied and Poof he was gone.
Anyhow, welcome back. I spared no expense this time around, Dusty. RO water to start. Water, after nutes has been a solid 5.7 from the start. First hydro grow tested every ounce of resolve I had. The second one I understood what was happening, but couldn't reasonably, fix it. Coco opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking. I have a hell of a lot better control mixing 100 gallons of nutes in 55-gallon drums a week than DWC-5 gal. or 15 gal. RW rez. . With the Blue Labs monitor going, I can dial this shit down to the tenths on TDS with no problem. Gotta love technology!

The whole time I defol, I do checks on the leafs with a Xglass to look for eggs-bugs-blasted curses---->>Mites! I've had then in the house twice now. So far I'm mico-bug-free. So far. Last time didn't start till 6 weeks into flower. That sucked.

Nothing new here. Smoke - feed - smoke - stare at plants - smoke - de-fol - smoke - check leafs - smoke - read posts. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Allrightty, then. I think I'm just stoned enough to do an update. Been a week. No real big news to tell. Tent 1 is full of flowers now. Tent 2 is a week behind, but is showing pistols on both the SCD and the IBs. Keeping all the nutes the same. Why question perfection.
Nutes:
Starting with R/O water @ 20 TDS
CALiMAGic by General Hydroponics - 4 ml. per gallon (1-0-0)
SNS 209 - 1/4 oz. per gallon
Kool Bloom by General Hydroponics - 5 ml. per gallon (0-10-10)
Bud Candy by Advanced Nutrients - 8 ml. per gallon

At this point, the nutes should read in the neighborhood of 700 TDS.
Flora Nova - Bloom by General Hydroponics - added to bring TDS up to 1170. Give or take. (4-8-7)

At this point the Ph is 5.7, Perfect. I've found that using a TDS/Ph/TEMP. meter and 2 55 gallon drums is the way to go! Sooooooo much more forgiving than trying to get exact duplicate mixes @ five gallons or 15 gallons at a time.

If you take nothing else away from my journals, take this; one of the most important parts in hydro growing is consistency in your nutes. Before you even start, invest in a monitor or a multi-function test pen!!!

With good equipment, this will become much easier to do.

I found an extra foot of grow room in my tents!!! With the charcoal filters running, the tent vacuums it's self up. It's cheating my girls out of much-needed room so I'm fabricating up a couple pieces of oak to keep the flaps bowed out. AT LEAST A FOOT GAINED!

Notice the plastic brackets I came up with mounted on the poles above.

I have this little plant still growing in a pot. still no clue what it is.

Other bugs and crap....

Some PineapplPineapple Chunk I harvested 2 weeks ago. Nice stuff! Lights out kinda stuff.

A couple things: I finished my trial on expanding tent 1, and I gotta say, I like it. Got one side done, now I'm off to Home Depot to grab the stuff to do the other side.

I think the Twin Towers are close to done stretching, which is good because I ran out of "up" on my yo-yos. I raised 2 on heavy duty zip ties that will take the lights to almost the top of the tents, if needed.

And a shot of tent 2. The stretch is on at full throttle. The SCD id a light hog, for sure! So unfair to the poor IBs. not even the added 300 watts are enough to overcome the crowding. Live and learn.....

The SCDs in tent 1 have hit 42" & 47" off the cocoa. (53" & 59" off floor) and the SCD in tent 2 is 34" off cocoa and 50" off the floor.

Just a couple more of the girls with more room in the tent. I put a box on the rear pole because I can't reach the rear side poles to attach the holders. That will be fixed before the next session in the tents. Did the same to the back of tent 2 and going to brace up the front of it too. All the flaps on the bottoms are open and still it was sagging. Sag no more, dammit!!!lol

Excited to see the Bulks potential indoors. I haven't found many grow journals with this strain.

I have been thinking about doing an outdoor grow in some 50 gallon containers I have lying around.

I'll be back to see how everything is going, looks great so far. Keep up the good work!!

Well Strykr, I'm afraid that what I'm going to get is nowhere neer it's potential! I really f-ed up when I put them in a scrog with anything else. 2 in that scrog would have been nice and an extra 2 weeks of veg. But I fucked up and stuck in that Super CBD Durban in the middle. Big mistake! ! I should have known better. I had this problem in rockwool on my first grow. Totally shaded out a Master Kush that produced very little but was, by far, the best of 3 in that grow.

So, having said that, I welcome you attension, but don't judge the plant by the moron feeding it!!!

In the last 8 hours, I've seen everything grow by more than an inch! Geeze! Tested my Ph in the nutes and found it to be 6.1 so I adjusted back down to 5.7 and gave them all another gallon. For shits and giggles.

I have the best E-Fing man cave - EVER!!!!
