First Grow, DWC StealthHydro Bucketeer

What kind of camera is that Steve? With those kind of detailed pictures, I want the same thing...;-) Brand, where you got it, anything helpful would be much appreciated!!

Thats almost exactly what happened with my one small plant Steve except I did it because the feeder tube had come loose and she only had one root sticking out of the cup. I figured that was all there was and that I could take everything out rearrange and stick that one root back thru. That was until I got the rockwool cube out and realized she had a whole system of roots that were just about to poke thru. I rearranged the best I could but it still stunted her growth for about a week. She came back strong now though. Yours looks healthy so you should be off and running now. I bet neither one of us will ever do that again.

That is great to hear that she came back strong after the incident. Also good to hear somebody else made the same mistake. I guess none of us are alone when it comes to new guy growing mistakes. You definitely have that right, I won't be curious george and go diggin for roots the next time! :grinjoint:

Hey Longhorn, thanks for stoppin in. The camera is a DSC-H9, it's a few years old, and you could get a better camera now for less money. It's not a bad camera, but it's really only great under good lighting conditions, which is fine for growroom or outdoor pics, but not so awesome for those low light level happy time bedroom pics. lmao, So I guess in short, my reviews for the camera would be

"Not so bad for the Pot-ographer, and not at all recommended for the nighttime pornographer." :slide:

That's the link to the camera info on the Sony website. :peace:

I realized today that I have been feeding her based upon age and not size, so I also learned this Hashplant Haze strain can really take some abuse. I was thinking about flushing and giving her a smaller dose, but I noticed her stem is really starting to thicken up, so as long as I'm seein progress I guess I'll keep the strength. Roots are looking amazing as well.

Growing certainly teaches us PATIENCE, doesn't it?

It certainly does Roseman! Growing can be sort of therapeutic. Especially, when accompanied by some sweet smoke to get ya thru the tough times when the plants aren't doin so hot. :grinjoint:

Oh yeah you should be good now Steve
"Looks like she made it"

For some reason, now I can't get that Manilow song out of my head. Karaoke anyone?... too early? hell... :roorrip:

I decided to take some bud shots of the stuff that's gettin me thru the tough times of a stunted grow. And since we all love pics so much I thought I'd toss them up here.

I like buds that look like other things. faces, people, funny shapes. Maybe I'm too baked too early but you guys can check them out and tell me what you see...

And one attempt at being artistic. lol If any of you guys want these for wallpaper or anything let me know because they look better before I scale them down. I can go as big as 3264x2448 so shoot me a message and I can make you a copy in the size you need... :roorrip:

A bears face

A heart

A guy with a big beard

I'm not crazy! lol , or maybe ur just as crazy as I am. I saw them all the same as you at first. but looked deeper at the heart and saw an angry bird beak, and tongue. Freaked me out. :grinjoint:

you ought to enter those in the monthly bud contest here.

Hi SteveMcGreen I'm going to ride along with you on this journey.
Got to learn how to do this, and get a bit more modern than soil.
I least I want to understand the technology, right now it's like being lost in a time capsule. :ganjamon:

:thanks: Thanks Roseman, but I really don't know much about the strains I currently get, and I think the contest entry form wants to know, strain name and more details I'm just not quite sure of. This is mostly the reason why I'm growing my own meds now. The joy of living in a state with medicinal marijuana but no way to get it.

Thanks for following along OldMedMan! Pay close attention to the things I do wrong, and make sure you don't do the same! lol.

But honestly once everything is said and done, the recipe for success in growing with bubbles is really just like a cake recipe...a really really really big cake recipe. :roorrip:

Daily pic update! Is it cool for the leaf tips to be jagged like that? strain related? stress issue? Everything else looks healthy to me just a little slow. But some of the best bbq I've ever had in my life was slooooooooow roasted. If low and slow works here, I don't mind the wait :grinjoint: The last pic has a color difference because I added a 68w, 300w equivalent, 2700k cfl to supplement and get her more warmed up to a hps specturm. Which according to UPS should be here around Friday next week. Damn weather is slowin things down I guess. :peace:
