I've just started with my first grow and decided to join this forum as well.
I can say it has not been going well thus far, my first girl died shortly after sprouting, I was trying to transplant her and fractured her main stem. 2nd lady died at 2 weeks old, the LED lamp I was using wasn't powerful enough I believe, she stretched to much, the stem wasn't strong enough and just broke, tried reviving her without any success.
I'm now at my 3rd attempt, 3 weeks old today. It had all been going well for the first 2 weeks but now I'm noticing some problems. She has been showing some spectacular growth so far but for about a week and a half things have not been going well. Looks like growth has drastically slowed and her leafs are curling inward showing some yellow discoloration which eventually turns brown (lost 2 leafs already).
I have included some pictures to this post and some further info below, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Strain: Amnesia Haze Automatic
System: deep water culture in 10l of water (15l actual bucket capacity)
Lighting: 288W Greenception LED
Photo-cycle: 18hrs lights on
RH: 55-58%
Air temperature: 20.5C (lights on)
Water temperature: 18.9C (lights on)
Air pump attached to an air stone running 24/7.
Nutrients: Canna Aqua Vega A+B 20ml/10l | Canna Ryzotonic 20ml/10l | Cannazym 20ml/10l | Ca-Mag supplement 1ml/10l
Water: distilled water | initial Ph is 7 | initial EC 0.03 mS/cm
Starting Ph after nutrients are disolved: 4.5 | Ph up to 5.5 (organic solution), it drifts by itself to 6.2-6.3 within 10hrs at which time I Ph down to 5.7-5.8
EC: 1.00 mS/cm (right after nutrients are mixed in and water Ph is brought to an acceptable level)
DWC water is replaced weekly and I clean the bucket with distilled water before filling it in again with a fresh mixture. I'm checking the Ph and EC twice a day, 12hrs interval. I can clearly see the plant is feeding itself, EC is going down (-0.3mS/cm within 48hrs and Ph is going up) yet I don't understand why she is struggling.
