Freakzilla - 1st Grow This Decade - Sour Diesel & Super OG Kush

So I found a fan in the house to use. But I also got so sick of looking way down and bending over so.... well see below.

It couldn't be a better fit. It was a 35"x35" table. It is 28" tall I just slid the reflective catch tray up and got table under it. I now have room for storage under it! My tent it 3'x3' so it just a touch of room at the edge. The green crack the tall ones really needed the fan. They had gotten the tallest, but also fell over so they need it.

Re: Freakzilla - 1st Grow This Decade - Sour Diesel & Super OG Kush

So one more thing. I have some white build up on the dirt and the out side of the pots (remember they are fabric) where the water has come through the sides. So my question is, is it salts or mold/mildew? I feel like its salt and here is why. There were also places where I dripped it onto the mylar catch tray and where they dehydrated there was the same white stuff.

What do you think?

Here are some more picks of the girls. The two OG Kush plants are doing great, they are super strong, but #1 is layed out sideways right now, you can see the stem to the right of the leaves in the first picture.

The second pic is #2 straight tall and stong drop of water from earlier today.

The third one is my (only) Sour D she is strong just short.

Then the last two are Green Crack #2 and then #1. #2 is a bit weird and slightly deformed. #1 is very tall but leaning on the label, I'm hoping the new fan will make her strengthen up.

Awesome find with the table! Perfect fit! The white build up is salt. Not to worry! Flushing will help with that, but itll still hang around. All good :)
Thanks i did water last night with out nutrients and no new white and some is also gone so yay!

If your temps allow run your fan 24 hours for a few days at a low setting and you will see a difference in the stem's, maybe throw in a small heater too, looking good tho:thumb:
Thanks I'm pretty happy with my girls. Temps with the light on aren't a problem. Especially now that I have effectively halved the volume of space with the addition of the table. However I did notice on the lower section where not as much heat is going there is condensation on the mylar as we've been in sub-freezing temperatures for several weeks here in New England. I did run the exhaust fan, opening a vent on the bottom of the tent (below the table surface) last night to dry it out down there. Of course that dropped the humidity quite dramatically of the whole tent. this morning when I looked I was it 73 degrees and 70% humidity with the light on exhaust fan off but the circulation fan was on. Ill see how they look tonight when I get home after a whole cycle with the new set up in place.

High Freak,

If the temps and relativei humidity aren't that high, then it has to be salt. I've seen it on mine. I was thinking of immersing the pot into a pan of water to thoroughly soak the rootball, then drain. Just trying to help.

Hi Bode,
Thanks for the info, but last night i came to the conclusion that it is fugus. When i looked very close it has some very small "strings" around the edges and honestly i had only used nutes with 3 waterings thus far. With fresh water in between. It seems like this is supposed to happen and its in the soil from what i have read. I do think i might be over watering so im going to let them dry out a bit. And just keep an eye on it. But if you (or anyone else) has different thoughts let me know. I will take some photos tonight. And post them.

They're all getting so big I feel like everytime I look in they've gotten slightly bigger. Really happy with the way that they're looking for the most part. I'm going to end up weeding out (pun intended) one of the girls. I just think that for what I'm hoping for four of them will be better. The funny thing is I ended up putting green crack number one and a 5-gallon pot because it was doing so much better than the rest. Now it's the weakest of the bunch and the most underdeveloped. Stupid irony! The two OG Kush are just freaking rock stars! They're the biggest and most developed at this point nice and strong . I have a question for everybody when do seedlings stopped being seedlings? I'm asking because of the feeding schedule and just trying to decide what should be officially Week 1? Is there any generally accepted standard or is it just arbitrary? Anyway here's the pictures and thanks in advance.

Nice looking little girls. On the one in a 5 gal pot, she's growing roots. when she searches for water, she grows more roots. If too much water, she won't grow roots because she doesn't need to.

I forgot to mention, I think the industry standard is to count days as day one when there's green above the soil. Light change to 12/12 is day one for the flower stage.
