I switched to 12/12 on the 11th October, plant didn't show obvious signs till end of october. Growing in a closet under a 400w metal halide (that's all I have and can get as I like in in Antarctica far from any shops. I know its not ideal light for flower any feed back is appreciated.

as in literally antarctica ? it's supposed to be the only uninhabited continent on earth
judging by the buckets they've got a home depot ...

it will take a touch longer under mh. it does not have the spectrum to really finish. seeing as those are sativa dom, they may never get amber trichomes under mh, but they should get cloudy at least. i had better luck with indica.

my sativas under mh could go an extra month or two, been a long time since i used one in flower.

The leaf's look really sativa & this could mean a long flowering time than expected.

Several weeks at best with out knowing which strain it is / breeder... google it or send a penguin out !

Yep just hoping it comes quick as haven't had a good smoke in weeks

This is Jack Herer put into flower
October 11th using 900 w LED’s.
They are a week or so from harvest. Just thought I’d give you a comparison. Hang in there you are doing great. You can always take a bud or two early as a tester.

Looks like you are just starting the swell. This is when your buds fatten up & get frosty. Thing I noticed was the spots on the leaves. You need to up your PK booster or at least the K. It sure helps to bring out the Terpenes too by using it. I try to max out PK during flower.

How long will swell go on for and all I have nutrients wise is blood and bone and some seaweed fertilizer they organic but yeah don't have access to much else. Thanks for your feedback man much appreciated

Think about it this way, you will gain about 25% or more in weight during the swell. Buds will usually get more compact during this time also. Is that worth the wait ?
Not sure if you know this but if you turn your temps down to about 68 F they finish slightly faster & the colder temps bring out any colors the plant may have.
Seems they frost up more too trying to protect themselves from the cold. Like I said "Seems". It might be my imagination but that's how it looks to me.

You are doing great. We do the best with what we have to work with. I’m lucky my rooms stay cool and dry this time of year but your in the right place to get any help you need. Did you take any clones, since you are in the Antarctic I imagine seeds are hard to come by.

I didnt want to ruin OPs game so I just went along with it lol but in addition to the bucket, theres also where did the soil, nutes and lights come from (any idea how expensive it would be to get them there???) and how is the waste being dealt with since everything is trucked to the Navy base and then shipped back to civilization.

Also, no one lives there in the winter except for those doing the upkeep of the science base. Needless to say OP isnt in Antarctica.

I just believe what op said. Probably remote location regardless. But good point.

I don't think your very educated if you think it's unhabited mate
