Unless your plant is capable of using all of the water that this container can hold, in 24 hours or less, there is no real need to up-pot. Visual inspection can not tell you this, only monitoring the wet/dry cycle can give you this information. Up-potting is not a race... there is a good scientific reason to stay in the smaller container as long as you can get away with it.

Bingo. If you are judging it based on the roots on the outsides, you still have plenty of room for root growth in that pot. Let it go for another week or 2 and check again or just uppot when you notice its drying out faster and faster (Meaning so much root growth in there that there isnt enough water to last). That being said, you can still up-pot if you like but if you are trying to follow the soil watering guide like what emilya has in her sig, you would want to wait a bit longer. My 40 day old mother plants are still in 1-gallon pots, ill be moving them to 3 gallon likely tonight.

Ok thank you I was gonna up pot also to add some more beneficial soil like fox farm frog or something like that instead of adding any fertilizers. So basically adding good quality soil mixed with beneficial organisms and natural fertilizers to fill the remaining space in the bigger pot to feed the plant without me having to ever feed the plant anything other then some teas and water what do you think or should I wait I’m most worried about fertilizing right and naturally @Emilya @vyserage @Virgin ground
