Fed the girls last night. Mix is per gallon. I made and fed them 3 gallons. No runoff.

Its worth mentioning that I have also been spraying the canopy with water and mild dose of Pro-Tekt. To help them stay hydrated. I have been giving them a good soaking about every time I feed. So a couple times a week.

Here is my stretching problem I believe is from the heat. I measured the other day and my lights are plenty close. I forget what it was I think it was 26 or 28" Ill measure again tonight and update with an accurate measurement. I did lower it a few weeks ago. That was before flower I think. So it was 30" Anyway here is the stretch.

I should have took more pictures of the stretch. Ill prolly do that tonight seeing how I really dont have anything to do other than to check on things and air out the building. Till then.

I was going over my post and looking at the photos and other than the heat problems that are clear,,,they look healthy. To me anyway. Good green color. No signs of Def...Or nute burn.

Hey I get better temps blowing hot air out of room always so that's way I go with and I think what ever runs cooler for a whole day then it's the winner oh and look into swamp cooler might work for you with that humidity

UPDATE: 17 Days In Flower

Made my Nute mix last night. I made 3 gallons. I should have made 4. I believe I will start drenching them On Weds from now on. Due to it being the longest period they will go without water/feed. That or I should do it Sundays So they make it thru the 3 days a little better. IDK but I only had 3 gallons that had been bubbling. And I am trying to do every right. So I only made 3. Like I said. I think i will, once a week, drench to the point of about 20% runoff, And the other 2 days I will only give 3 gallons. Which will lead to basically 0 runoff. Last grow I fed/watered to about 20% runoff everytime. And after read and chatting with a few growers whos garden looked amazing at all times. I decided to try this approach. It will save time and energy not have to suck up the runoff everytime. And save on nutes. So far they seems to like it. Another thing I did last grow that Im not this one is the usuage of GROW. Last grow I used it all thru veg and halfway thru bloom. This time, I added a transplant, and didnt use grow until some where at the switch. A tip I got from another grower here. Cant remember who. Wish I could, I would shout them out.
Anyway mix went like this

And like I have been doing, I will add this Tonight when I go to feed. Just something else I read somewhere saying you shouldnt bubble your Micro, it should be added later. I accidentally broke a small branch a couple days ago. I taped it together but it was still dying, so I just cut it off. I also defoliated a little a couple days ago. I still have some to do. Its hard to get all the undercarriage of the 2 in the back of the tent. Ill just have to get what I can get and make butter or oil out of the rest.
I also lowered the grow. I will stick to 3 tsp for now. Theres really nothing else. I am going to test my self water things I bought from amazon. I have to leave for almost a week. No one knows about my girls and hopefully they never will. So I bought these spike things that have hoses attatched, The spikes go in the dirt and the hose goes in a jug or bowl of water. You have to drench your soil first. And as it drys it sucks the water out of the jug. Hopefully it will work and be enough to get me thru. I figure if they work. I will drench before I leave, they will have the water sucked up after a day or 2 and that will leave about 3 without water. 3 I can handle. 4 will be harmful. I am going to test this tonight when I feed. And see if it works and if so how long it takes to suck up the water. Ill take some pictures of it tonight. TIll then

Bro u might lose smell alil terpines burn off around 100-110f and if u can put your temp sensor at canopy level will give you way different reading mine is always higher on top of lite

OK so I go to feed my girls last night and open up my tent to see this

As you can see, NO GOOD!! So I did what I believe most people would do. I freaked out for a second, Then calmed myself down and started diagnosing what happened. And in this case I immediately Picked up one of my pots. It honestly didnt feel any lighter than it normally is after a couple days without water. But It looked to me to be a clear sign of them being too hot without enough water. So I fed my girls like I was going to. I then sprayed them down real good with water and Pro-Tekt. After about an hour they looked like this

Its crazy how fast they stood back up. I hope to never let that happen again. Such an armature mistake.
Unfortunately they have stretched another 3 or 4 inches. And not a good stretch. I think it may be due to me raising my lights to 30" I raised them because my last grow, I had alot of problems that I think came from my light being too close. Now It may have been to far away, even tho its closer now than they were before. OR it could be the heat. Because my stems for the most part are really skinny also. It could also be a combo of both. IDK but whats done is done. All I can do is keep trying to keep this vehicle under control. Its swerving right now. LOL

Here are the auto water tools I am tying out. I will see if they are working tonight.

I definitely have buds starting to form. I thought my stretch was done actually. I was quite surprised last night to see they stretched some more. I hope they are done. Anyway As I was saying, buds are forming. I will take some pictures tonight. Im excited to try out this Terpenz stuff I got free with my Bloom I bought. It is suppose to increase resin and what not. I think I already post a picture and info on it earlier in this GJ.

thats exactly how mine looked when I went 4 days without watering... and the same thing happened... At first I was like OH SHIT... and then I was like I just need to water them they will be fine... and they perked right back up... mine are starting to show flowers too I cant wait till the buds get nice and big...

UPDATE: 22 Days In Flower

Ok so Im in a bit of panic mode right now. I as you see from my last post a few days ago I have to leave for 5 days. I bought some self watering devices but cant seem to get them to work. I have ran 2 test runs. And the 2 jugs I had sitting in the tent are still about where they were. So I AM SCREWED. I guess I should have bought 2 different styles. Or went in way of IV. But I leave tomorrow so Its too late to do anything. I dont really live in a place where everything is accessible. So I have to order online. That takes time. The only thing Walmart had was those glass globes. They dont hold alot of water. But I bought 12. I will put 3 in each plant.
I usually feed only Sundays but because I am leaving and not coming back till Sunday, I am going to feed tonight. That way they arent going a week without feed. Just 5 days. I will Also water again in the morning and then put these globes in there right before I leave. I have seen from a couple weeks ago that 3 days is the max. Then they start dying. So 5 days there will be no coming back. Maybe if it was winter. But with this heat, no way. SO my plan is to again try my auto water tools. ( 15 came in the pack) And also use 3 small water globes, (not the large ones unfortunately) in each pot. I am just hoping to somehow starting the dying process Thursday or later. If it doesnt "start" to dry out, Meaning all water from globes and jugs if they work is gone and now the soil is drying, If it doesnt start to dry out until Thursday, Then I may still have a chance. They will be hurting, but May come back. If my auto water tools would work I could get that to Friday and be good. But I am not using it right, or they dont work. Either way it screws me.

Ok so I got home yesterday. Scared....nervous to see what was in store for me. I was prepared if need be, to move on with my life and start another crop. But to my surprise, My girls werent even droopy. Between the auto water tools I bought that actually worked a little, the glass watering globes I put in there, (3 in each) and prolly (thanks to Jay) the fact that I turned bloom switch off, They were fine. Stretched a little more unfortunately. which wouldnt really be a big deal but it was hovering over the others. So anyway, I got home, I didnt wait for lights on, because I was worried they were dead, and if not, in desperate need of water and feed. And I made up a batch of nutes. I hope I didnt throw the PH off too much because I didnt have a chance to let it sit and bubble. I just mixed and used. Mix went as follows per gallon. 3 Gallons total

I removed all my auto watering tools and globes. And to solve the stretching and uneven canopy, I super cropped one of the girls. It is suppose to be a Money Maker. But Now Im starting to wonder if maybe I got them switched up and MM is on the left. As it is a Indica Dom strain I wouldnt think it would stretch as much as it is. It didnt last time but yet neither did any of the others. I got a whole extra week of stretch this time. ANYWAY so I super cropped it. I hope I didnt make a mistake. as They were looking pretty good. Looking like , unlike last time. Most of the branches are going to produce all the way down and not just the tops. Last time the main branches were really the only ones that produced bud all the way down. This time I am seeing each branch with buds forming all the way down to screen. So I hope I didnt just screw everything up by super cropping this late
I did some defoliating last night after lights came back on. Unfortunately while I was gone. the power went out for a few hours. Which threw my time off from 8-8 to 12-12. So I went out there last night after 12, and fixed the time. My timer was still set for 8-8 but because there was no power, it didnt keep time so it thought it was 8pm at midnight. So That means I had to sacrifice a few hours of light for a day to get it back on track. I was going to just leave it seeing how there is really only like 4 weeks left. But I want to make sure it doesnt get too hot in there. I hope screwing with the light schedule a couple of days doesnt bother them too much. I mean they didnt get too much light, Which I think would be worse, they got extra dark time. IDK, Like everyone else, I am doing the best I can do. Anyway I defoliated a little last night. I cut every bloom that was screen level. I still got some to do as I didnt get it all.
I also hope that me turning the bloom switch off for a week didnt hurt them. Seems like they need the red for producing buds, I may have just stalled them for a week. But if thats the worst it did, Im ok with that. Because it could have been worse and they could have dried up and died while I was gone. Id much rather add another week to them than to have to start all over.

Now I wouldnt say they came out unharmed at all. There are some spots here and there. Not sure what they are from. Im assuming from not getting fed for 6 days. Im hoping its nothing.

It sucks in a way, because I do all this COOL shit, but I cant talk to anyone about it. Other than you 420 people. So help a homie out and converse with me

man...the more I think about it the more I wish I wouldnt have super cropped that plant... It is from my perspective, a disaster, not just the S.C but the grow as a whole. They stretched way more than I would have liked. Which is leaving me not knowing what to do really. They are hard to mess with because of the screen. And now that I have S.C one of the plants, it is even more confusing.
1. It had stretched so much that S.C to make it even with the others like I did means I had to bend about halfway down to the screen. Which is leaving alot of buds past the bend, which will get bigger and heavier. And as of right now they are already a pain because they are wanting to fall past the canopy level. And when they get bigger. The weight will most certainly pull them down even further.
2 As for the girl right beside her, in the front. She was tucked and done right, like last time, and never got that high above the screen. But now that leaves it lower than the rest and not getting as much light.
3. Foliage is pretty thick. Iv been defoliating the last couple nights. But Its not my strong suit, so I am Leary of taking too much.
4. while defoliating I noticed that I screwed up tucking and or something because there are a couple of main branches that never stretched. Their shoots have stretched and are at canopy. But the actual branch itself, that should have giving me a nice fat top bud, is still down with the screen. Everything has risen above it. There are at least 1, might be 2 that are like that. Also some side shoots that were being tucked as they grew, got stuck down below also. Most of them I untucked but because they grew like that they are still staying down by the screen. Its a big cluster F. (Still good problems to have in a total sense of lifes problems) I just really dont know what to do.

As for number 2, I was kinda thinking when I was doing it that I wouldnt be able to get the others as they were being more difficult, and that I should just leave it alone. So I should have stuck to that and it would be even with the rest. And I could have just raised my light and never S.C. It may have even worked out pretty good. Like I said in another post. I am seeing more bud formation down that branches then I seen last time. I should have left it I believe. Now its just a matter of finishing this one out the best I can. Health wise I feel I am doing pretty good. this time last grow I was way out of control and had discolored leaves everywhere. So thats improvement there anyway. I still have to make sure that I can get 8zzs from this crop to last till next. Any thoughts or suggestion? Am I just being dramatic?

Also I am thinking of doing something different next grow. Either a SOG, or 4 plants not under a screen, or, and this is one I am really contemplating, is doing 4 manifolds. Or should I stick and perfect my SCROG. I want to find the best and easiest way to get the most out of my 3x3x6 tent. Preferably with 4 or less plants. Which way do you all think produces the most yield? Let me know what you think.

I think you did good... the buds on your bent tops will straighten up and get fat. I super cropped my first grow mid flower and the nugs got fat on the tops.. I think your canopy looks good especially for running multiple strains. I was doing 4 plants at a time in a 4x4 and hitting 10 to 12 oz.. I switched to 11 smaller plants this grow and I still hate watering them.. I don't think you need to Scrog to hit 8oz in a 3x3, you will most likely hit much higher this grow. Switching styles is kinda up to you and your preferences. I'm trying to harvest more often instead of one big harvest every 4 months.

And like I have been the entire grow, I am bubbling the water before hand. Then mixing the grow,bloom,big bloomin guano, catalyst, and hi-brix together and bubbling it. Then when Im ready to feed. I add in the calmag,microblast,pro-tekt, and mammoth p.

I have been defoliating a little every night. Trying to open it up a little for more light and better air flow. I really need to add another clip fan. Its crazy how different this grow has been from the last. There is only 1 strain difference. But it has grown completely different. All I can do is hold on and try to make it to the end like last time. Speaking of which. I have been smoking away on my last harvest. I couldnt be happier or more satisfied. I can smoke anytime I want and how much I want without having to worry about running out, or being able to afford more. Well worth the work and effort. Plus, theres nothing better than smoking your own shit. Seedless and almost stemless, fluffy sticky, stinky, relaxation.
SORRY about that, I got lost in a moment. As you can see, Im enjoying some right now. lol
Anyway. Ill take some pictures tonight. Im still worried about my super cropping. And I am getting some spots on my leafs. I think it came from when I was gone. No feed for a week. My light is pretty close. Last grow Im pretty sure I burned my girls with my light being too close. It is currently that close or closer right now. But Im really not seeing any signs other than those spots and a waxy look, to tell me the lights are too close. And because they stretched so much I dont want to raise the light too high. I would like to make sure that everything, or at least most of what is above the screen can get what light it needs. Humidity is high. Or it was last night. I am for sure going to have to get a dehumidifier. With the heat as high as it is and then add the humidity. Im just asking for bud rot or something.

I knew I was forgetting something last night. I forgot to add the Calmag. O well. It will be ok. I did some more defoliating. Trying to let light in deeper in the canopy. As well as air. Other than that, not much else. Doing the best I can in this heat. Its hard to tell if this grow will produce more or less than last. Tomorrow will be 5 full weeks. I really need to add another fan I feel. I totally screwed this crow up in certain ways. My canopy is horribly uneven. But I didnt really care for the super cropping. Maybe if done better or right. But I dont care for it so far. Im still trying to figure out my battle plan for my next grow. Whether I keep the screen and maybe flower a week earlier. Or let them go without the screen with alot of LST.

I did a but more Super Cropping last night because Lemon Skunk 1 was only 16" from the light. So I SC her to about 20" Which according to the light manufacturer, is too low. And last grow I had it that low and it burned my plants. But I dont want to SC any lower. And dont want to raise my lights and higher because of my little runt. Anyway thats it for now.
