Oh yea I have a lot going on. Flowering one room in the next few weeks. The other room is about a month before flower and I have a mother Alaskan purple that is going good. I have retired the LED's. Awesome growth but final bud production and product is not there. That last LED grow I did the buds were big and pretty but after final inspection and cure its just not there. The under bud was very immature and you could tell there is very little light penetration. I was using the new Samsung chips as well. I hope you have better luck with them than me. Keep up the awesome work!

You do have a lot happening over there! So back to all HID then? Thats to bad to hear about the leds, did they have the full spectrum? UV, flower mode etc?
I’m almost at 3 weeks since the flip, I started to thin the bio-mass out some...hopefully some light penetration happens, I’m at 100% on the LEDS as of yesterday...

i run 600w of cob at 75% in about a 4 x 4 - so i draw about 450w which is roughly what you are running. i find it's about the right amount of led power for the space. you're looking good.

Full spectrum. My board has 456pcs of Samsung LM301B and 76pcs of 660nm. 261 watts from the wall. Yea all HID for me until the next generation for me to try. And its winter time now, I dont have to run much heat

Another amazing Monday Update...happy 420 you fine people! I love the taste of weed in the morning! I feel pretty sedate until I puff on a fatty, then things really start to happen...mmmm
Cannabinoids! Who wants to do a journal entry without being high, hell who wants to do anything without being high? I started it off with Platinum Pine Tar mixed with a little Pink Rozay, a fine way to start the Day.
Oh yea this about growing the weeds...today is 21 days since the flip, I sure hope the stretch is done cause damn they did some growing in the last 21 days. I can see the Sativa side in a couple of the girls it seems, the 4x4’s seem kind of small all of a sudden? A 10’x10’ Space would be pretty sweet, everything could go inside the tent except drainage, and reservoir...hmmm! Aspirations...

We have seen significant growth the last week, buds have started to pop everywhere! I have done more defoliation than I really wanted to do, but it’s all about experimenting and finding my way right? I will try and take minimal off from now until harvest, although the Queen Mom may need more taken off the top: lots of leaves covering up buds. Her canopy is over 3’ across the top...I now want to grow 1 plant per tent with a scrog for each, trees I tell you, trees!

Update continues...the ladies are feeding 3x a day for 52 seconds/ event, ppm is at 450: (500 scale)
PH holds steady at 5.9-6.0 and reservoir temperature stays a constant 68f with the chiller. I have scaled back from 500 to 450 ppm as there is a little burning on the Stardawg X Sherbet Dip...the troubles I guess with feeding all strains from the same trough?
I have run off pumps in both tents now, so automation is close! I only really need to change out/ keep reservoir full, and drain the run-off...I have the de-humidifier draining into one of the run off tubs, so 2 tubs to drain. The run off feed the house plants, as well as the outdoor garden and surrounding trees. It will be green here come springtime.
No need to wait for spring, it will be very green here around the end of January sometime!

Good morning weed heads...I hope everyone is feeling festive, or at least has some time to chill!
The ladies in the tents...a 2 tent garage...seem to be enjoying life contained in a 4x4 square plant prison.
we are now 4 weeks since the flip, the stretch has stopped and the stacking has begun? I’m hoping that’s the case...the buds on the Queen Mom(Fallout Strain) look pretty amazing so far! Not huge yet, but they look extremely dense and delectable! She is taking up more than half of the 4x4, the canopy is quite large! so far it seems that the @Budget LED lights are performing very well! Electrical bills are down, the Buds are up!
the ladies are consuming mass quantities of water and nutrients! 5 plants have gone thru over 35 gallons of nutrient solution since last Sunday...10 days. Tonight or tomorrow a reservoir change is due, I will keep better track of water consumption this time....it’s huge! The buds...will be huge...the roots too huge!
i had to get rid of the runt, she was turning into a dude? I hope the others are not compromised! I will keep on moving forward as is though...they look pretty good to me. But I don’t know shit! I’m learning, slowly, at the pace of the plants right...well maybe faster with you guys and your journals that know all kinds of tricks!

So far I love the hydro, well the coco really...the drain to waste is easy I find, I’m not getting much fluctuations...maybe once in a week do I need to add a little PH down. It has a tendency to fluctuate a little more when I add the silica...which is maybe adding PH down twice in a week. I imagine a recirculating system would be more difficult to maintain, so this DTW is pretty easy. Cleaning, and maintenance is about it so far. I would like to change the reservoir out every week, but I get a little lazy...it’s about every 9-10 days it seems. With the chiller, and Bluelab Guardian things have definitely gotten easier to maintain with way less worries! Which is great as work has been pretty busy lately, now I have a couple weeks off I can chill!

There’s a Festivus for the rest of us...Happy Holidays everybody! Mrs Claus left me a large joint of Jet Fuel for my Christmas morning gardening tasks! Breakfast of Champions!
The BB#3 x GSC tent is starting to smell unreal, I can’t stop sticking my head in the tent...I may have to disconnect the carbon filter. The buds are stacking up nicely everywhere it seems, 32 days since swapping cycles, so about 22 days of bud stacking...around 10 for pistils to present themselves...

I trimmed a couple leaves from the big girl...Queen Mom...the seeds came from the UK. All require royal names right? Anyways she is getting very sticky, the scissors barely touched a bud: really sticky! Pleasantly surprised I was, and another 5-6 weeks to get stickier. Hmmmm could be good?

Happy New Year Y’all pot heads! The tent is open to let the sweet smells out tonite, it smells amazing in the Bruce Banner #3 x Girl Scout Cookies tent, aaaaamazing! All 3 plants are a little different, and they each have a particular odour...I hope they taste like they smell!

And without further ado...tent 2. May I present the princess on the left(Sherbet Dip x Stardawg)
The Queen is on the right...”Fallout”(BB#3xGSC)X(Blue Cheese x Black Domina) she is ridiculously sticky! Every time I accidentally touch her, my fingers stick together...40 days since the flip. The Queen had a bit more veg time, from seed she is at 102 days, The Princess is 83 days from seed...almost 3 weeks lead time, and could have easily taken over half the tent...

A quick Friday morning update...getting close to the start of 8 weeks since the flip. Star dawg is an 8-9 week strain, the rest are 9-10 weeks...so we are getting close! Trichome check is inevitable! May need to have a sample soon? Ppm are down to 400, and dropping each top up...easing off on the nute strength, watering are at 4x daily, down to 40 seconds a hit...68f and 5.9-6.0 PH...
