OK Mr J What to hear more about this change that's coming.
Can't grow and your building stealth boxes?
I'm confused...but...that's nothing new!
Hi OMM! well, I'm supposed to keep within my numbers, but cant do the breeding at the other local so I plan to build a small box or 2 to put under the house complete with extensive odor control and ventilation so I can breed my strains undetected under us. The crawl space is accessable thru a hidden trap door and the only person who would ever need to get down there other than me is the HVAC guy if there was a problem with the heater. I have a grower friendly HVAC guy. It's still up in the air, but I'm pretty sure how I want to do it, and just have to come up with the money for the wood and filter.

Hi horse, its the end of this journal, but hey, gotta move on. Other things. Yea the gig should be interesting.....to say the least. May even open up some insane opportunities! I'll be around man, juust wont have the time to be managing my own journal thread.

Oh no. No way am I giving that tent up. It's too cool. It'll still be a while before the current plants are done in there, but even then I'm going to be growing chilli peppers in it and other veggies if it's not loaded with buds. lol Might even talk the missus into sneeking a girl or two in there occassionally. you know,

Without further interuptions Here is how the tent was looking last sunday.
Cindy99 Medusa week 10... Seems the lockout knocked up her timeframe a bit.
Cindyy99 Seedbearing bud. i started harvesting a few seeds today. Some are ready, some need another week...
A few shots of the Papaya. Great smelling plant, and very sugary buds. I recommend!!
This is the older Rhino. She got some seeds here and there from me not being carefull enough with the pollen q-tip. More seeds, but it effected her yield somewhat. Not a big deal with me. I have the whole other rhino anyways. Harvest in a couple days!

Beautiful buds brother!!! That papaya looks so very tasty...I may end up having to get some of that someday. I like frosty buds...

I would love to land a job like that down here...have a dispensary buy the equipment I wanted and have a decently large space to grow in...and all the bud I want....would be great job. Congrats again brother.

Hi there Bandit! Thanx for the KinD words there brother, I hope you didn't ruin your shirt. lol They arent turning out too bad at all considering that they've been thru hell this go. I'm pretty confident that the cheap coc has alot to do with it. I used exactly the same formula as I was using before and this go they got some major lockout, and I later remembered that I changed coir brand. Dough. The plants have been on the GH Biothrive since then (just coincidence that I was switching then I hope. ) and so I hope that they'll have a nice organic-ish taste too. I know the Rhino smells spicier with the 'GO' line. yields are a little lower though, so I will be suplimenting with Age Old Bloom (5-11-11) I believe. Some of the higher p & K from an OMRI fertilizer. We'll see how it does as a booster.
I appreciate you stopping by man, I'll do the same at your place soon too! Don't worry, I'm not going away, just shutting this journal....for now. We'll see how the new job goes, and go from there. If it doesn't work out (I'm skeptical about partnerships) I'll be back to the tent and private caregiving.

Hi there ConqueringLoJ! Yep, I'm ending the journal soon, but I'll still stick around to bug you guys. Even though the new job is legal I want to draw as little attention to us as we can, so journaling is out, and I'm going to include all or most of the missus and my legal 12 plants in the job, so naturally, the journal is at a close, but not quite yet. Still have a few more updates to get under the belt first. Rhino will be comming down tomorrow, and Papaya and Medusa are going to be starting flush tonight, and the new rhino is still a ways from harvest, so even though I'm slowing, it's still not quite there yet.

Aloha-heo MountainHigh! Thanks man! Yea, I've been in there drooling over the papaya for a while now, and am at about 20% amber today, so flush is tonight. She smells SOOOOOOOOOOO good. Never grown bud that REALLY smells THAT fruity. I'm glad I inbred her. I'll have seeds for another gen of Papaya along with the crosses, so the genetics arent lost to me. You know, the papaya will finish at just about 60 days I think (I'll have to look it up later to know for sure) which is way inder the time Nirvana says. Isn't that something? First time I've had a strain finish EARLIER than they say. lol I guess it does say something about "Usually an early finishing strain." though. I dunno. She's a little moody, but not too bad, I'd recomend her to you bro. Just got to watch out for a few mutations I believe are related to exessive inbreeding of the strain on Nirvanas part. It'll be wicked to see how the Cindy99 x Papaya cross comes out. I think they were a great match for a cross.
Yea, Give out piss tests, but if your clean your fired. lol They know I'm a patient, and smoke themselves, so no problemo. I never smoke on the job anywho, or even when I'm gardening here, so I keep away from dumb stoner mistakes for the most part. lol You know man, what it was is that with the new HB1284 (Or whatever the number was) the dispensaries need to hire growers for inhouse grows (70% of product), or you can give them a wicked sample and be one of the lucky few that consists of that 30% of medicinal that they can still legaly get from growers and distributers. The hard part is finding a dispensary thats to your liking and see's eye to eye with you. Alot of the people I talked to were assholes, or had superiority complexes when it came to growing. Yet their house product was not as good as they think it is. Hell, most of the places around here have Sour D as top shelf, but my circle of peeps considers that a standard, and White rhino and cindy99 both are above it. Not to mention some of the other rediculous strains out there. (cough.......Subcool........cough)
well, anyways, if you wanna get a job like that just keep at it. Dont give up, and get yourself out there!!!!

Looking good JL very good. Quick question to pick your brain, what is your thought on two grow tents in one room? I have a "spare" bedroom I want to use as my grow room but dont want to modify the room much to suit a bloom room. My main concern was IDK where I would vent the heat. I do have a large closet in the room I am thinking of using OR I could use the room with the smaller closet and vent the heat in there? Just figured you might know since i am assuming you own more than one tent.

Has heat ever been an issue for you? And how do you vent your lights if you do so at all? Veg tent will be LED's eventually so prob will just need a fan or two and a Carbon air scrubber for smell then flower tent will be HID and CFL's most likely. Not sure on room measurements yet but it is deff a decent size room.

what i have is a 4x4, and an 8x4, i dont like the 4x4, just tooo small and tall so the light is a problem, where as the other is more roomy and the light penetrates all over...heat, hahahaha, the magic question, take a look at some of the pics i posted...i'll get a harvest but the heat did a job, combined with human error...soooo, im a pretty p...s'd puppy....but it doesnt do much good, the large tent has less of a problem with heat, run exhaust on temp timer, and intake plus 3 fans in lg. and 2 fans in small...usuallly not a hugh prob. tho...as it is rainy here....ozonator for smell, have none....vents under the house after smell is x'ed out...intake from outside, with bug gaurds and screens, which i spray with azamax....seems to work....the nicest temps in the house, except for the recently passed heat wave....hugs, L
I have a 3.11" by 3.11" tent so damn near a 4X4. Not sure if i can vent air outside as its an apt like setup so im not sure about fresh air exactly either. I think once I move this weekend and get the house setup and the rooms I will create a help thread to see peoples suggestions. I was thinking of venting the air into the closet or the room but if i vent the hot air into the room then it will just sucks that air back in through the bottom. decisions decisions.

yep, have been there, done that, and recycled air gets "old" to the plants...if you could deodorize it so it could circulate then it would recharge itself...i can sure tell stale air, because of the asthma, so imagine the plants do to...need some system for sure...alot of great minds here to help you, so i imagine you'll find a solution...but thats not my strong point...
i think i would divide that room, like i plan to mine, into 2rms, upper and lower, and make a clone room out of it...seems like that would use the space really well, or use for moms and babies....i just really like space, in my head i still dont have enough...did you see the 10x10 room...now would love that one....bigger than what i live in nearly....lol...L
Lolz you have a 10X10 room? I have not seen it. I think the two rooms are equal size but one has a big closet the other a small one so i planned on using the room with the big closet to grow. I will start a thread this sat so i am not clogging up to much room on JL's. I think dividing the room or using the tent for veg and making a bloom room would work but then again im in an apt so it will not be simple as i cant punch holes in walls and stuff. Well I could but i would have to fix it up before I leave.

no, i dont have one, but its on the want list....about the holes, i think youre better off leaving no holes, even if patched...just too risky...any slips and you could buy trouble...so there has to be another way....L

Hi Myzz617. Still researching the options with the tents, huh? Good. Better to have more info than not enough. Looks like lavendar has you covered.
I have only one tent, but a total of 4 useable areas. (1 bloom, 1 grow, 1 clone, and one breeding area) In a 10x10 room or normal bedroom you could easily run 2 tents. I keep my home AC unit on 76 and my tent never really gets over 88 (with one exeption when the AC ran low on coolant) as you may know, my tent is 2'7" square with a 5'11" cieling with a 250hps and 2 x 2' cool blue flourscent tubes. Works great with only a 4" inline duct fan venting exhaust. I could easily duplicate that tent and run it side by side with my current one with little heat build up. Right now I use a CAP Ozone Jr. Ozone generator for smell, but will be upgrading to Activated carbon filter soon enough. (Yes even for my tomatoes. lol) Hope that helps a little.

Will most likely convert the Tent to various veggies (like I've been dying to do) for a bit at least.

Grow in the tents with filters and crank the APT air conditioner. no need for venting out if you do that. Just dont cheap out on the exhaust systems on the tent! good fans and good filters!
Dont worry about clogging my thread. Not like it's bugging me. lol ...and not like i'd mind even if it was a moving thing.
