Lizard's End Of Year Grow

Update: Day 21 of flower.

Things going smooth as it looks like the stretch is all but over now. They seem to be doing good and lookin healthy.
They look magnificent mate.
Also have only used water up untill this point. tossing up weather to use nutrients or not. Ill hold off for a week or 2 now and see how that extra soil goes.
I think thats a pretty good recommendation for the product really. Ill be watching with interest as they go deeper into flower.
The temps have been fairly stable hovering between 26 during the day and 21 Celsius during night
Perfect zones mate. No wonder they look happy.
I'd never be able to close the zipper. Hehe.
This tickled me for all the wrong reasons.....haha.

Day 27 of flower:
Progressing slowly but surely still smooth sailing. Loving this stage of the grow now all the plants have offically stopped stretching and Im starting to notice all the little crystals start forming. im expecting the smell to start going to another level along with the buds starting to joinup and take shape.

Still only used soil this grow with no weekly nutrient feeds,A picture of the soil is posted in a comment above if that helps... Really tossing up what to do.. @InTheShed @Jon @Listersmeghead @Azimuth Like the old saying. " if it aint broke dont fix it". The other side of the argument is, just by looking at how green and healthy the left side plants are Maybe..im not pushing them to their potential. At the end of the day, I'm after Dense quality nuggies.

Heres some photos.

Are the left side and right side being treated differently?

Also Found an awesome leaf with 10 things. I heard 9 was a good indicator of a healthy plant.

Truly is the healthiest looking leaf in me whole garden!

Pretty darn beautiful, especially without nutrients. :bravo:
Is it LOS ?
That's the only container soil I have heard of that can go through flower completely without nutrients.
Are you giving microbial teas?
Great work my friend.
Take care.

Stay safe

Your plants look pretty happy. Did you use that TurboDirt for the whole pot, or just the topdress? I'm not familiar with that product, but it says good to use with seeds and clones. However, ours is a pretty hungry plant so definitely keep your eyes open to building deficiencies.

Assuming you are giving pure water only with no nutes in it, that would suggest an organic grow which also means that fixing any creeping deficiencies will take a couple of weeks to begin to show any effect. You're about half way through flower (assuming your 27 day count is from pistils showing).

Feeding some castings teas wouldn't hurt anything and could help keep the soil topped up, but if this is your first grow with that soil I'd probably just see how far it could take the grow. The bag says water only soil, so maybe you  are good.

*******

Edit: OK. I just looked it up. Pretty broad list of organic inputs and says you can use water-only and good for a 9-10 week cycle, although plants with known needs should be treated accordingly.

So, most plants will not need supplemental inputs, but others may. Also says to make sure to keep your microbes topped off with regular additions of one of two products.

So, looks like you're likely good to continue on, just keep a good eye out for plants that look like they could use help. And be sure to supplement with additional microbes as the manufacturer suggests.

Exciting times.

30 Oscar’s?!

That’s a lot of smoke.

Most I’ve ever got off one plant is 8oz. I seem to average 6oz per plant, not including autos. Autos give me around 1.5oz on average.

I know, its more a dream to hit 30 but we need to stocked up for summer! 8 oz is bloody impressive I think mine was around 165 grams( 5-6) oz and i"ve never grown an auto.. feels like a waste when it just starts flowering after 30-40 days with no size, But then i see people like @Jon pulling a pound+. One day we will test the waters. . Hope everything's doing good in your neck of the woods

Well, he grows XXL autos in coco and has his grow dialed in pretty well. I know autos are touted as a great 'intro to growing' plant but I think you have to be a pretty good grower to grow them well. Any setback with stunt them a bit and there's no recovery time. The most common problem is overwatering, and usually too much, too often.

Three ways to get around that issue; learn to water properly with a wet/dry cycle, add perlite layers in between your regular mix a la @Bill284 's method, or skip the entire learning curve by switching your grow pots to a SIP (sub irrigated planter).
