Might As Well Take My Own Advice

Tonight was a nutrient change. This was the first change in the new set up. Well not a fan. I need to pick up a small transfer pump because with screen in place its way to stressfull to take the top off. For both me and 1.1.
1.2 was the main reason for the water change but with out the screen it is easy peasy.

Each bucket was filled with 6 gal of water. (I did mark gal lines this time for faster refills). 1.1 was treated to 2 tsp of each of the 3 part general hydroponics and 2 tsp of calmag. The ph was set between 5.5 and 6.0. This mix gave a total tds of 342 on my pen.

1.2 was treated to 6 gal of water dosed with 1.5 tsp of each. The ph was adjusted to 6.0 ish and the tds was a whopping 292.

1.1 went to sleep before I could get pics but I'll get some tomorrow.

Ok so a training question. I plan on placing another screen 8" above the current screen. Now do I go ahead and establish my final desired canopy now? Do I keep tucking now? I'm afraid if I keep tucking the long back growth it will get crowded before the lady stretches full foreward.

Any thoughts?

Ok today was full of turmoil. I couldnt take the crowding anymore. I thinned out 1.1. I trimmed off all branches not off the main stem. Just hoping I didnt stress it to much. Ill leave her alone now and see how she does.

4 clones were taken from 1.1 2 days ago. 3 are placed in towels in a plastic bag. The towels are dipped in a clonex solution. I put together a jerry rigged bubbler for the 4th cutting. The water container is 5.5-6.5 phed and 30 ml clonex mixed in 1 gal of h2o. I put the water water in a cup with an airstone in it. Not out anything if it doesn't work.

1.1 is holding her own. She is 3 gal down ph holding steady and tds holding stable. It rose 8 points in 2 days. She seems to be using nutes around the rate as water uptake. I will have to give her a mixed drink tomorrow.

1.2 is still hanging in the veg hole. Her water is dropping much much slower but her tds is holding steady at at 320. Today hrr ph was way high. Im assuming its from the dirt and organic matter that I couldnt get removed. I will give her a water change and good cleaning again tomorrow. Hopefully it will clear up soon.

The cutting is in its own little mini bubler hanging out in the vedge room. I want to avoid the dirt in my water mess.

Life has been relentless lately but all is well. Nothing out of the ordinary going on in the garden. 1.1 is moving along nicely. As we are aproaching the end of week 5 things are kicking.

This time I only had 2 height adjustments. This is keeping my lights farther than i wanted. I did bend over one the large colas and tied it down with the green strechy tie stuff. Well it strecthed back up. Oh well.

1.2 is hanging out in the veg room. I will be adding height rails every 4 inches for light adjustments before she goes in the flower hole. I am keeping her topped off to about 12" from soil to keep her under the screen. She will be a monster I hope. :)

The clone of 1.1 has taken root and is chilling under a 100 w led bulb 6500k. (13 actual watts).

Following are 1.1 pics some in flowering light (yellowish hue)
The rest are with flash.

Well you see with the screen in place she doesn't like being moved out. My A/C went out on the 4th of July (go figure) took maintenance a couple days to get it up and running. So I had to up my circulation in the room. Thus i had to cut a bigger hole in my cabinet. I covered it up the best I could. When i pulled the sheet out some of the chips decided to stick to my sugar leaves and bud. :( I have no idea how to get off with out picking each piece off.......

Have you previously told that story or were we supposed to get all that from the words "wood chips"?

A good bud wash will get actual chips off the sugar. Fine sawdust is another matter. Most will wash off but some may remain stuck to the trichomes. I wouldn't worry about it too much. This was my wash water once, harvested after I had work done in my backyard:

I have been reading several different sources on taking pictures with my Samsung Note 8. So throwing some pics out feedback is always open.

I do not have a tripod. I am relying on old rifle shooting techniques to stabilize. Bones tucked in pockets (natural brace points on the body) and muscles relaxed. Slow the breathing and push the button gently. Slow steady pressure till the flash.
