FLOWER DAY 57

Good evening to my :420: family. This will probably be my last update starting with flower as they are going for the chop tomorrow after there 12 hours of darkness. I was looking at trichomes when the lights came on today and I think the amber content is Up at about 20%, maybe more. They have really loaded on the weight over the last few days, some branches are struggling to hold themselves up now. :thumb:

Tomorrow morning I will go and fetch the supplies I need to do some bud washing.

Here are the last pics you will see of them in the pots

have you had a taste of your own medicine yet? ;)

:bravo:

How do you manage not to "accidentally break" a smaller lower branch? :thedoubletake:

lots and lots of self control. They have been through enough this grow and didn't want to stress them anymore than they already were. It's been hard tho, i'm not gonna lie

CHOP CHOP

Well tonite I took down my babies. We had a little chat about what was gonna happen and why this had to be done, then I did the deed. First I cut all fan leaves off and trimmed the rest back to the edge of the frosting. I also removed any leaves that had visible thrips damage. Gave them a good washing in a bucket filled with luke warm water, lemon juice and baking powder, then into a bucket filled with hot water and into the cold water bucket. They are now hanging to dry back in the box. Like fool I forgot to take pictures of this process.

Tomorrow when I get home from the daily grind, I'm gonna give them another trim, saving all for some cooking. I'll also try and remember to get a trimmed weight.
I'll leave you with the pics I remembered to take :thumb:

Joint before bed. Hoping this nug dries for tomorrow so I can sample her. I've left it on top of my sky box in a brown paper bag.

I want to say at this point a massive thankyou to everybody here at :420: without your input, guidance and general support, I don't think I would have made it this far. So :thanks: to all
Off to bed now filled with warmth.
Peace out people ✌

Can't wait for dry weight man, those look like some nice buds :Namaste:

Thank you my friends :circle-of-love:

Well I got in from work about an hour ago, broke the bud up that I had left on sky box and into the bowl it went. The result was good, not too harsh but not smooth either, I knew I had just had a big hit. The taste was nice, fairly sweet on the exhale. Happy to say I'm pretty wrecked right now, a good cerebral high with a little bit of lazy thrown in.
time to make some dinner and settle down for a trimming session.:thumb:

Peace out people :peace:

now thats some real medicine :thumb:

grats man, looks yummy :yummy:

Great harvest man! Looks like they are almost the same size, you kept them both happy. I bet the buds are hard as rock :theband:.
I know you will be very pleased with your smoke. :Namaste:
Another successful first time growth! Thats awesome. I wish more people tryied to grow their own cannabis (I know many ppl are using it as a cashcrop for ridiculous ammount of money, but hey it is still!!! illegal in some states, shame on that, but time will tell -SPOILER ALERT!- Happy end! And lets smoke to that). :cheer: Go Team Green!
