Well I got to say thanks to everyone of the 420 mag family..everyone is great.made a few new friends here.I hope I have helped some out there grow a better plant!!

hey when do you trim your plant down that much im almost 4 weeks into flower and wondering at what point i should do that??
or do you only do that before harvest sorry if its a really newbie question

You should be trimming already..cut all fan leaves off for sure..As for sugar leaves the ones growing out of the buds cut off the ones that have stem showing..also down below remove any stuff thats going to amount to no real buds or popcorn buds..the object is to put all the plants energy into making cola buds..not waste it on worthless little shit.and all those leaves block light going to where we want it..
Now only do this on a healty plant. .do some at a time for a few days to start..then everytome the fill in again trim them up..im doing it about once a week now..I start during veg..I keep all the giant leaves off..go back in my journal..there's lots of great pics of how I got to this point..youll enjoy it..peace Brother! !!

Hey everyone..hope ur weekend was a good one..so the new white widows are top less as of tonite..also my crown royal clones are doing well..great roots..got the rest of the flower girls trimmed up..thanks for the help V..also the new seeds are on the hot seat germinating..gonna get crazy around here soon..or is it already..LOLSHIT I'm tired..going to sleep..nite everyone.

Update on new seeds..all cks seeds germinated but one Black indica. .11 of the 12 are in the dirt now..of the other 20 unknown strains only 4 didn't get tails yet..there planted to..they will probally be sprouted in the morning..not to shabby..2 days from water cup to soil..that's bout it for now..time to ROCK !!!!

Congrats on your new babies old school. I've found the heating pad really helps speed up the process. Mine doesn't get too hot but I put the plate in a shoe box and set that on top of the heating pad. I will be taking clones tonight. I have everything ready. Do you use a heating pad for your clones as well or do you just put them under the light?

Yes the heat pad is the way to go..ive had almost 100 % success using one...I don't let it get over 80..as for clones. .I cut off the branch..scrape the bottom with a razor blade and dip in cloning gel. Stick in dirt..thats all I do..now I got to admit..I should have about 5 more clones..like a dumb ass I had them all together with the last WW seedlings..I totally forgot that there adults not babies..make a long story short I wasn't feeding them nutes..duh right..then I fed them correctly they took off.but is was to late for some..I also took the clones from flowering plants ..the crown royals I have..makes it a bit harder but there nice now..you can see the great roots..so yea cloning is easy really.
gonna be swamped soon for plants..have two new mars ll 700s on the way for my new space.
that's where the ww are going in a week..I just am addicted to growing..6 led lights now..

You aren't nuts. I want more space and more light too. Ok maybe I'm nuts too.
I'm glad you reminded me about the clones being adults. It's easy to forget that when you are looking at 20 plants though. lol I don't have that problem though.

Oh yes noob I put under lights only..no heat pad.seems to work that way fine..
It's kind of funny when starting a hobby like this the money you spend to get things right. A first grow is definitely not a "break even" venture but all future grows will be that much easier and lower investment. My ex used to complain about my fishing trips saying "do you realize how many fish Fry's we could have gone to"...lol
