New to growing

Hello,

Super new to growing. I just started watering with RO ph to 6.5 to 6.8 the photos below are before Watering with RO. I have not added any Nutes. Using a 60/40 split of Fox Farm Soil and Coco. My light is 24" above the canopy at the moment. I am using a 1000W LED.

Any tips or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

You might hit the lighter one with a small dose of cal/mag next round.
I had one look the same compared to the others and had to do the same. Keep an eye on it for sure.

I let it keep going, then finally another member pointed it out to me. Fixed within 1 treatment a week or so later.

update on my ladies!

This is taken right before I fed them another round of Nutes and RO water PH to 6.8. ChemPie and Blueberry headband. I started to massage all my stems and leaves this morning to help strengthen the stems and get them used to being bent for when I begin to train her. I have read a lot about removing the bottom single leaves.; When do you think I should do this or let them fall off naturally?

Tips and advice always appreciated but for a first time grower everything looks smells and feels great in the tent if I do say so myself :D

Using RO water are you giving any Cal/Mag. RO is highly purified and takes the calcium out of the water so often you need to supplement. Make sure you are PHing after nutes are added to the water.

Let the bottom two leaves fall off.

If you do need Cal/Mag get the lowest nitrogen type you can. There's one brand with 2-0-0 that's pretty good.

I'd lower that PH on the water to 6.5, right above 7 you start to get nute lockout on iron.

Hey Guys thanks for the input. I ordered some cal mag should be here in the next couple of days! I do plan on topping but was going to wait till they get a bit taller? Or do you think I should top soon? I will adjust my ph down to 6.5. Should I maybe just use normal water till my cal mag gets in? or continue?

Thanks!

Both are sitting at 3 nodes currently. Should I look at an fertilizer? Also Should I continue with the RO water or just regular till I get cal mag?

I think you’d be able to top it now if you’d like, depending on what you want your final plant structure to be. I’m a fan of quadlining myself.
Attached is what i would do but it’s your grow buddy.
