Small update.

Got a Queen CBD and White Widow started.
Queen CBD is 22 days old
White Widow is 13 days old

Just bought 12 Doug's Varin and 12 Alpine Star seeds from Weed Seeds Express, ordered Monday and they're supposed to be here on Saturday so that's pretty good.

Cant wait to try the Doug's Varin, its 19-25% THC and 15+% THCV
That should be insane.
Be about December 15th before I get another crop going.

Yay, my yearly Chicken of the Woods mushroom came back for the 6th year in a row.
Much smaller than usual, I only took about 1/4th of it and after trimming was about a pound.
The one last year I had like 10#

This one was smaller and thinner but very tasty.
I made a nice roast garlic Alfredo with the CotW plus a wee bit of actual chicken, onion, sweet peas, corn, Fettuccine topped with a little feta and fresh shaved Parmesan.
Served with a good Cabernet and garlic bread.

Important to let the spores remain in the area so good of you to leave some behind...We used to always pick Chanterelle's and put them in netted bags so as we pick the spores have a chance to drop in the area.

Yeah I do the same plus I take a few pieces and transfer them behind our house in what looks like a prime spot in hopes something might take hold.
 
My Lions Mane came back again, although only one this time and only about 1/2 pound.
It was at least 20 feet up the tree.
I was barely able to get it by using my 16' branch trimmer while standing on a small rock on my tip toes.
Very nice one, firm, absolutely zero bugs, looked about like it was grown indoors.
Making some Lions Mane Faux Crab Cakes with it tonight.

I just popped the seeds in the soil, at 2 weeks bent them over and that was pretty much it, no real LST and no SCROG just let them grow.
Growing pretty well, buds are just now starting to fatten.
Going to be a pretty small yield, I doubt much over 12oz.
The Quenn CBD is turning a nice purple.

That Queen CBD is gorgeous.
 
Got my turkey all situated for tomorrow.
I completely deboned a whole Bell & Evans turkey, seasoned with Himalayan pink salt, fresh cracked pepper, fresh rosemary, ajika and shawarma.
Rolled up and wrapped in a basket weave of peachwood smoked bacon.

In the fridge dry brining in the seasoning, will put in Kamado tomorrow at 300⁰ smoked with peachwood.

Came out of the vacuum pack with the skin ripped, that would piss me off if I wasn't wrapping in bacon.
