5/17 moist paper towel lights on 5. Two GSC and three THC Bomb

5/19 two gsc popped. Three thc bomb close. Put all 5 on soil. Using Live soil from The Soil Makers. Lights on 6

5/22 two gsc sprouted with leaves. One thc bomb sprouted lights cycling on level 7 on for 18 off for 6

5/28. Roots growing out of seed trays for 2 gsc and 2 thc bomb. Transplanted into 1 gallon pots.

5/31 first dose of worm juice(Elm Dirt Plant Juice) Gsc thriving. Thc bomb slower. One plant looks dead. Veg stage started for gsc. Keeping temp around 70-72 and humidity around 70

6/2. Gsc showing roots at bottom of small pot. Moving to 5 gallon pot. Gsc Thriving. THC Bomb making a come back. Likes the worm juice. Not transplanting yet.

6/4. Set up tent 2. Transplanted THC Bomb to 5 gallon pots All looking good. Watering 2 cups per 5 gallon bag. Worm juice twice a week

6/7 wicking buckets seem to be working. Bottom third seems wet. Added a little worm juice to buckets. Plants look good. Lots of undergrowth starting.

6/9 all looking good. Going to start rotating on and off wick trays on Sunday when I get home.

Using 2 AC Infinity 642 tents. They are 2x4x6. Really nice tents. The 69Pro controller lets me see everything from my phone. Very convenient. Here a couple more photos

6/10. 20 days since sprouting. Plants all look good. Water meter is showing ‘wet’ deep down so I pulled one wick string. Other than that everything coming along nice. First two buckets are the gsc. Second pic of buckets is thc bomb. Close ups of the gsc tops going wild lol

I've been reading about FIM, which I'm gonna do to my plants when they get to a good size. Too early for the gsc here or no?

Looking great. The soggy bottom is a feature of SWICK in my experience. The bottom will always be much damper. a Sprinkling of water on the top layer helps feed those top feeder roots. Mulch may work but that may also affect the wicking rate I imagine.

6/12. 22 days since sprout. The bags are super heavy with water so I took them off the wick stands for a little to let the plant suck up a little if the ‘extra’ water at the bottom. I won’t let it go dry I just want to get some of the water used up then put back on the stands with only one wick string. The plants are thriving. Thinking of topping the biggest gsc at the 5th node within a day or two. I would like to try to clone the top. Thoughts?

I ordered 1/6 inch wicking strings. I think they will be thinner and I will use them while the plants are smaller. I will use the thicker ones as the plant grows if needed

I topped the bigger of the gsc. I cried as I did it. It looked too pretty to cut but cutting opened up light to a lot more lower leaves. I put the top in some Root X then into my soil. I will see if it roots or not lol

That's what I do, as the first step in Quadlining.

That looks a bit much for me on the first grow lol. I topped above the 5th mode. I will keep quadlining in mind for future grows

Really nothing other than topping once and then LST the four remaining branches to the container edge, and then let them grow up.

You get a more productive plant for your efforts. Some thinning is also required but you'd probably do that anyway.

So if I topped to the fifth node I would remove all but the fourth and fifth node leaves/branches. Should I wait a few days until the plant recovers from the topping?

Read the first page or two, but I think it's pluck the lowers a day or so before the topping, but I've done it all different ways.

6/13. 23 days since sprout. The topped GSC looks good. Not showing any ill affects from the topping. Pics of the topped plant below. Then some pics of the thc bomb still chugging along!

I trimmed the lower nodes and started some lst on the topped gsc. I trimmed the other gsc and will top in a day or two.

Topped the second gsc. So both topped and trimmed. Lst on both. The picture of the top of the gsc is the one I topped two day ago and trimmed yesterday. Lots of new growth. Third pic is thc bomb. Going to top that soon too.
