Plugger's Hydro #01

Just realized I measured the height of my lights from the top of the res (currently 18") not the highest plant top ;) So there is now at least 1" or more difference. I will check that out and raise my lights. Raised my lights so they are 18" from the plant tops.

02/13 @ 2139 latest leaves look healthy, still have curling in nodes 1 & 2 older leaves I think. Growth seems slow but continues. Raised the light 1 1/2" - 2". Have cool mist humidifier in the tent now and humidity is in the high 30's low 40's.
Nute wise i am switching to week 2 veg nutes (1/2tsp each of the trio per gallon) from (1/4tsp each of the trio per gallon) 1 gallon at a time. res is about 5.5 gallons and have done 4 daily 1 gallon swaps.

PH is 5.6-5.8 used strips

One thing is the seedlings seem short, compact sure not reaching for the light?

02/15 @ 1122 Gave the humidifier a 1/8 of a turn from 1800(1/2) to 1930(5/8) last night @ 2013hrs. The tent @ 0900hrs this morning was 64.8 F @ 93%, res 61.7 F lol

Granted it was chilly last night but man had water dripping from everything lol ;) Guess the Humidifier works. It was running a stable 38% before that little 1/8 of a turn.

Seedlings look great! I will get pictures when I do my 1 gallon for 1 gallon res water change. This is #6 so i should be running close to week 2 veg nutes (1/2tsp of each of the trio per gallon).

mmmmm now that I think about it, why was the humidifier still running? OK read the manual, it is just a cool mist humidifier. Turning the knob just controls the amount of mist not humidity level lol it has no humidity level or monitoring ;) I need a separate monitor/control to turn it on and off ;) But man does it work good ;) lol Me bad!
The lights were off from 2am to 8am thus the temp fell ;)

OK checked the seedlings out and they look good. I think the things I was concerned with maybe in the past so i am going to let them go ;) Have a humidity controller on order, plus it also comes with a temp controller I am going to use for res cool/heat should be here in a few days. Will turn the cool mist humidifier off @ night for lights off until I get the controller.
Tent 75.2 F @ 28%, res 67.8 F, PH approx 5.6-5.9 used strips

The leaf curling still bugs me ;) And some odd coloring next time I am in the tent I will check and see if the leaf bottoms are purplish along with the stems. First time i have used a flash for the pictures.

Peeked at the roots and they are white and growing with side shoots, res smells well like it always has clean ;) Lights at about 21"

This was going to be an off no post day, but I made an error on my res change and just thought I would mention it. Did all the normal checks, nutes,(veg nutes 1/2tsp of each of the trio), CaliMagic, Hydroguard, PH but I forgot to temp check the water. was 76.5 F is cooling off, down to 75.3 now, but an over sight on my part. I put some water bottles in the freezer and I am keeping an eye on things.
Plants are finally looking great, seem healthy and happy. Maybe I am just calming down and doting over them less ;)

Starting to think about topping, planning on between 4-5 or 5-6 we will see ;)

Hey. Your plants are looking healthy. As for humidity, my grow box is roughly at 23-25 degrees celsius. My humidity is at only 10%. It's winter where I live and I would have to raise the humidity in my entire residence to raise the level in the grow box (not enough room in my box for a humidifier, at least for now).

I decided to leave it be as my plant seems healthy for this grow. I'll be getting one for my next grow. Then I will post some findings as to how much the humidity effected the overall grow.

I will be following your grow! Mine is similar, just only one plant. Good luck :)

Winter here also ;) But we are on the down(good) side ;) lol going to be 0F tonight. Spring is coming ;)

@420BudzFreak was right. All 3 plants (not seedlings anymore) have grown 1/4 inch in the top nodes. It has separated from the the bottom 2 older nodes. The separation stands out. So I am getting closer to topping time ;)

I am thinking the next active growth node will be cut off leaving the current active node that just showed the growth. But we will see. I am thinking the 2 nodes below the growth spurt are old.

Yep understood, pot/cover is just off when I do maintenance. Good point overall ;) cut the light!

Next few weeks are going to be fun. Growth, topping,, ScrOG net, tucking and such ;) And all I have is a vague idea from reading ;) and a plan about what I think I might do ;) fun fun

also over the next several weeks we will have gender reveals, hopefully. I did dream a while ago i got 3 males lol ;)

All 3 plants are looking good and growing. Resisting the urge to poke around the plants thinking about topping. I am going to try and just let them be a few days to grow out more ;) need to finish my ScrOG net in case I decide to use it.
I am also considering just trying to manifold 1 and bending the other 2, blue b2 and blue b3 are 4 days behind blue b1. I have a few days to get a plan together. Also toying with the idea of trying to root the tops I cut off.

just 2 pics today, blue b1(4" and some) day 24, environment PH was 5.8 on the nose used my meter

OK all 3 plants are looking good. blue b1 has 5 nodes, blue b2 and blue b3 are 4 days behind blue b1 and have 4 nodes.
I am going to top blue b1 today and take off the very active 5th node. I am planning on leaving a stub but taking as much of the stem as I can because I am going to try and root the topping just to see how it goes.
