Sour Blueberry & AK 59 Eatin' That Happy Frog

Sour blueberry and a new strain AK 59 in Fox Farm's Happy Frog. I'm too dressing with gaia green glacial rock dust, bloom booster, all purpose fertilizer, and super fly. Water is distilled and currently every 2 days. Once or twice a week they get a tea brewed with molasses and seaweed extract. Started as clones and currently at about week 6 or 7 in veg. Having a hard time deciding when to flip.

Indicas double in size, and sativa triple in size during the stretch. This is just a rule of thumb, as I've seen some plants continue growing to four times their size after the flip. Measure from where the stem emerges from the ground, along the branches to get your current size. Compare that to the final size you want your plant to be, and you'll have a good idea of when to flip.

These are from October 6th until now. I have other pics on my old phone from the beginning. I'll post them when I get them.

Aloha Hebe!

subbed and following along if you don’t mind. Plants are looking full and lush! Is the sour blueberry from humbolt seed organization? Been eye balling that strain and the pineapple skunk they have.

Hey sunny! Thanks alot, they're looking very healthy right now. I just flipped to flower on Wednesday night so let the excitement begin! :):ganjamon:
And yes I always chose Humboldt Seed Organization when I can. I've never had any seed let me down from them. Plus they come in pretty cool packaging.

Yeah man I like the packaging too. I got the chocolate mint og from humbolt in my last order but I’ve been wanting to find a sold male plant for pollen and I keep looking at the pineapple skunk regular seeds.

Sending positive thoughts and vibrations for a epic grow all the way to the finish line!

Aloha

I love seeing these things stretch. Gave them their last foliage feeding of seaweed extract last night. I've top dressed twice now for flower. Once, four weeks before flowering and once just before a flipped. The plant should be recovering those nutrients now. I don't see any deficiencies yet so I think their on a roll!

Just a little update. These girls are stretching nicely. Starting to see the beginning of bud development after 6 days in flower. Just watered tonight and they're super happy!

Happy haloween! The girls are looking super happy. Just really hope I'm ok nutrient wise. I haven't used anything except organic materials so far. I'm hoping not to have to use any chemicals at all. With the soil I've used and the top dressing, I think I'll be ok. Any tips or advise to get rid of purpling stems would be greatly appreciated!

Purple stems sometimes come with the strain. If the ladies are happy I wouldn't even stress it.

Thanks alot. I'm going to top dress with some more glacial rock dust and superfly and maybe a couple more seaweed teas and see if that helps. I've added a small amount of Epsom salt and lime to the top to help adjust any hotspots. Thanks for the advise!

She's looking beauty this morning. All parked up after having a drink. Still stretching pretty good. I like the length I'm getting on these colas. My last grow I tucked till week3 and ended up with small colas. This grow I stopped
tucking just after flipping to flower.
I just top dressed again with Gaia Green Superfly, Glacial Rock Dust, Bloom Booster and All purpose fertilizer to keep up the food supply till late flower. I also added 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt. Finally starting to see some buds forming getting stoked!

Looking like a good start to week 3. Just wrapped the second week up with a nice soil drench with molasess and soluble seaweed extract. The buds look like they're coming up nicely. Time to start stackin. They look a little droopy as I've just fed them. Looks like everything's flowing nicely.

Got a question to see I get any feedback. What you guys think about defoliation during flower period? I was thinking of defoliatong some fan leaves. Is it better to pluck a few every day or do it all at once? I figure a few a day would be less stress on them.

Do it all at once by day 21 after the flip. After that, do the absolute minimum needed to get light down to the lower bud sites. Tuck and move the leaves around if you can. If not, go slow.

Thanks salt! Ok. So I plan on removing all fan leaves on lower budsites. But how many should be removed from each cola per say?
