Trichomes Still Milky

The trichomes on Betty and Wilma have been milky for two week (or more). I would've thought they'd have darkened by now... even a little. Should I be concerned?

Not to alarm you but I see nanners.
Stay safe.

If you think that an extra week or so will produce something closer than what you want you might be able to hold off on an early harvest. Any seeds that might start tend to take longer than a week to even start to swell.

If it is just a couple of male flowers then pinch them with tweezers or very small needle-nose pliers to kill them.

But the first thing to do is look at the lower buds at the bottom or under the canopy. If there are a lot of them there, especially entire buds that are entirely male flowers then that is the sure sign that it is time to harvest. But only one or two or three up at the top is not enough to call for a premature harvest.

I've started the harvest.

Thanks.

Im sorry I didn't see this until now. Amber does not equal couchlock, that depends on the strain. Amber means it is ripe, and if you don't see amber, you are not seeing the full expression of your plant. Also, seeing nanners now is not an instant signal to harvest... lets say the nanners all pop today and fertilize something. How long do you think it takes to develop a seed? It certainly is not something to worry about at the end of the grow, and overgrowing past this point for another month or so with a couple of those buds is a common way to gain feminized seeds from a female plant... its done all the time.

Betty and Wilma have been harvested. I'm going to guess that there were between thirty and forty bananas on each plant. They were all about the size (or smaller) than the one in the photo. They were yellow before the photo.
