White Widow

I've grown White Widow from Seedsman and got some very potent smoke. It was east to grow and the yields were good check out the frosty Buds

My taste was not so good ( good as smell , its a nice smell if ur a weed smoker , my wife thinks its like dead skunk.). I used A.M nutes and sweetened them up , but I would grow without nutes next time .Man they look great and tasty.:thumb:

I tried that route , but it did not provide any benefit to the plants . Some may get good results, but the folks I know say its a waste of ur time.
I would do 48hr darkness and then only cut down in the morning (Cutting in the morning will provide better results, juicer buds)
check around , there's sure to be a debate on this ?:nomo:

that is one of the closest to mine as far as look and structure, especially with those little down curl leaves at the top.

did you order direct from Seedsman?
 
Hey Canuck, this is the first time I have heard of BW. I like to think I know whats out there but this is a new one to me. Where did you get the genetics? Is it a white widow, blue dream cross? Got any pics of it? I love the white widow smoke. It was the first plant that I ever grew with top genetics and it was sublime. Peace and thanks for the heads up.:thanks:

Its dinafem genetics. Blueberry x white widow. Dont know if its blueberry og or not. Dinafem doest specify where the blueberry comes from. If you go to seedfinder.eu they have pics of it. I got them as a freebie from original sensible seed company when i ordered dinafem seeds. Im 3 for 3 with that seed company :)

Beautiful pics there! Makes me hopeful for similar buds! Am into 3rd week of flowering my WW which were feminized purchased seeds. White hairs everywhere. Currently have several outdoor WW that look like the top photos of this thread. Wide deep green leaves the size of my hand or larger. Others plants are thin leaves and Christmas trees. So I guess I have both sativa and indica strains? Cloning mothers several times Had a light outage and my indoor set up suffered and a female went male on me. But he is now being harvested. In the 60's and 70's over 1/2 the weight of an oz. was seeds and stems. My how times have changed!

Mine first WW was Dutch Passion.

I bought more from them and they did NOT turn out the same as the first.
It was very good, but not exceptionally good like the first.

I also tried Dinafem, same results.
 
I just finished growing a Greenhouse Seed Co. White Widow. If anyone has done some research on the heritage of this plant and its creator, you would know that GHSco originally introduced the strain in the mid 90's. The creator of this amazing strain left GHSco and formed Mr Nice Seeds. Shantibaba is the true creator of White widow and still retains the original parenting genetics of this amazing hybrid. The true genetics of White widow can be obtained as "Black Widow" from Mr Nice Seeds, or any other affiliate selling said merchandise.

Here's some pictures from my harvest. Only about 5 days in the jar. Trichomes are getting the frosted glaze look that widow is associated with as the cure progresses.

Well, i could have let it go probably 2-3 more weeks for more amber trichomes, which i will do on my new grow i have going with my Widow clones. I also have a 4ft tall widow thats been in veg since March, that will be going into flower in about 3 weeks under a 600w HPS and a 5'x5' scrog once i get my new tent set up! I'm hoping to break half pound dried on that plant, plus will be taking it to at least 9 weeks this time around.

The smoke was smooth and pleasant. Upon breaking up the buds, a fruity, skunky scent is very strong and very intoxicating. I sit there and smell the pile of busted herb before i actually roll it, thats how awesome the smell is.

The high is unlike any other high i've had. I've grown very accustomed to the kush that has flooded the markets here in BC, and when i crush up some fresh buds for a joint, the smell alone is enough to get you high i swear! The high is energetic yet relaxing. Very social, get-work-done kinda high. You can clean the house up with some good tunes on and not have to worry about the gear you're smoking being too heavy.

overall for this strain on THIS particular grow 7.5/10.

With my conditions dialed in, and a higher usable head space along with letting the plant mature longer, i'm sure the trichome production would have increased, potency would have increased as well, and even tho the majority of the buds are pretty tight already, the fluffier ones could have used some more ripening time. This next grow i will implement everything i learned about this strain on the first round and hopefully my overall rating of this strain will increase to a 9/10

I grew in DWC and this strain Was very resistant to heat and fluctuating PH. I also had one of the two widows sitting in a dry DWC for 6+ hours and this hardly affected yield or quality. Just made it take a little longer to finish thats all. The plant did not stretch much during 12/12 and had a high calyx to leaf ratio making trimming rather easy.

Hope everyone enjoys the bud porn! I'm enjoying smoking a tasty joint right now!! Even tho it needs another 2 weeks at least to cure properly!

I'm new in this forum --- been active on other MMJ forums.
This is the picture of my While Label White Widow (9 in) -- plus a Northern Light (6 In) and Kosher Kush (7 in) -- after 17 days vegetation (24 days from seed). An LST was performed on the 3 plants after 13 days in vegetation. First time growing this strain. I don't have the best set-up (250 HPS agro from day 1 to the end in a 2 ft x 2ft x 6 ft MDF cabinet.

How do you find my WW? Is it in the standard height/development? Pots are 5 gals

I am also growing in a 100% organic soil (my version of sub cool super soil, only with minor changes) without any prevision of fertilising until harvest.
