So there is a difference photo to portrait I need to do one of each side by side cause I can’t tell the difference. I’d always taken the cheap or free iPhones last were 8plus .Mama always complained about the too big , so I got her the mini 12 for Christmas and me the 12 max pro .Lookin good WH!!
I see you are figuring out the portrait option on your phones camera!!
Portrait, is a lot closer of a shot, so you need to hold the phone farther from the object, and the photo is a farther away shot so you need to hold it closer. Portrait you can’t zoom in, photo you can.

@Northern Hydro here is a pic of the OO Kush it held out at 100 cm , this one has the shiny leaves and the one in the back didn’t have the dark shiny leaves plus the other dwarfed .
