CD’s First Grow

Okay so here’s where I’m at. As you can see from the new pictures, duct work is done. Still a few touch ups to do but I’ll need some more white gorilla tape.
Both rooms are 8x8x6’4”, oscillating tower fan, humidifier and heater in both room. Intake and exhaust is shared between both room,
Vivosun- 740cfm x2 (one for intake, one for exhaust)
The exhaust fan is situated in the veg room with a Phlizon 3000w (625w)and the intake is in the flower room with a 500w Series 3 RSpec. Both lead right outside.i made the duct the same length in both area’s to hopefully draw and suck the same amount of air in and out of each room. Need to get another thermometer and hygrometer for veg room. Other than that I think I’m just about ready to germinate some more seeds.
Thanks @Budget LED

Wow! I like those. I think I may have to pick up a couple! Thanks dude!
Glad you like the rooms. I’m super stoked on them. Can’t wait to germinate some more. Now it’s decision time on what to grow next. I’m in a slight predicament though. My LST plant is showing white hairs everywhere but the trichomes are changing amber. May have to chop and Maybe they’ll turn during cure. Heard sativas can do that.

No problem! I'm not too thrilled with their app to be honest. I rarely use it. I access my data remotely via their server. Setup was relatively easy but I did have a couple hiccups at first. Finally got it dialed in and has been solid ever since. If you get them and have trouble, let me know and I'll try my best to help you through it.

Yeah I appreciate that my friend. I was looking at the InkBird temp and humidity controller. Just trying to figure out how I could use it in my specific setup. I think it might be best just to get a monitor and adjust it all myself.... decisions, decisions. Guess I need to way the pros and cons and then decide.

Hey fellow Canuk! Was just reading up on your journal and...wow man! Nice setup!!

I've got a few inkbird's, they're handy. I like to monitor everything remotely so the wifi one is nice, can manually/remotely kick on ventilation or heaters (depending on your setup).
Currently I use the dual heater inkbird one for my heat mats in propagation tray.
Wifi model hooked up to cool via ventilation, (can hook up a heater to it as well, but I left it unused).
And a humidity controller hooked up to mini humidifier and dehumidifier. But....lol you got way more space.
If you got any questions on the inkbirds lemme know, I've only had mine a short time but am happy with my buy(s).

Now that out of the way, here is what is going on. I have been running the Lamp 18-6 with VEG/BLOOM switch AND COBS at the same time. What I’m seeing is what I believe to be heat stress. I will add a picture below. I was going to lower the lamp on advice from a experienced seasoned grower but I got a little concerned/scared and didn’t quite yet. Looking for opinions on what you fine folks think.

I burned the crap out of my plants under a Phlizon 2000 and under a 1000. Burned two plants really bad . There in my grow journal if you get curious . Take it from me, Whose grown under these lights and can tell you that these lights can and will cause light burn . I had mine too close and left them on during a night cycle . Oops

Thanks man, it’s been a work in progress. Come along way since the first room I built.
those Inkbirds seem pretty handy.

That’s not good! I didn’t seem to have a problem with the 3000, I started these plants under it, at 26” all through veg. I’ll keep that in mind though! thanks.

Beautiful clean set up man!! Looks awesome!! Slightly jealous!! :thumb:

There he is, I need a raiders gnome now! Lmao. I appreciate the kind words brother. Im happy with how it turned out, Still gotta decide what to plant on the next run. I’m thinking 2 Sapphire OG, 2 Tropicanna banana and maybe 2 white widow.

Started a journal to log the breeding attempt. If anyone is interested.

Hey guys, so I cut the foxtailed plant down almost a week ago, it’s dry. In jars for curing. It’s so strange looking. I’m still not exactly sure why 2 did it and 2 didn’t.
I figured I’d show you guys anyway. All the foxtail trim and bud will be going to oil. Without further adieu,

Looks delicious! Good yield too!!

Yeah dude, I’m thinking I’ll have a good yield aswell. We will have to wait and see. I’m glad I started the next run when I did. Should be interesting on the next go round. Pollen chucking in 1 room and growing in another.

Well, I harvested the plants today. Wet trimmed and chopped. They’re hanging in the dark to dry. With a fan and humidifier running.
