Do you always top by how tall the plant is or do you also use nodes as a reference?

I dropped my Ph pen in a gallon I was testing one time and it was shot. But there's the little color coded ph chart on the tester bottles and you can estimate the ph of what you're mixing by comparing the color of your mix to this chart on the little tester bottles. It worked fine as a backup until the Zon got on the delivery stick.

On the last grow I topped as soon as they all grew their 6th node. I was reading up on the exotic genetix discord and he says he waits into the plants hit around 12in tall before topping so I was just letting them get a little taller before topping. Came close to topping them this morning so who knows it might get done sooner than later due to my impatience

I'm familiar, using a similar methodology. Do you specifically like to top certain branches/nodes more than others? What factors go into your decision of what to top the second and third time?

being only my 2nd photo grow I am just going by what that breeder said for the Dream Factory but just doing all of them that way. First grow I just topped once above the 5th nodes and let them go. he basically said just to top then let grow a week and then top the two shoots that grow out and then wait another week and then top those same two shoot again to make 8 in total

Today is a glorious day!
My last harvest is finally finished curing. Not counting the 4 oz of La Confidential that was turned into hash and the 2 oz of maui and diesel that I dipped into due to running out 2 weeks ago I ended up with about 220 grams of flower. The diesel has a musty foot kind of smell to it and the maui is a combo of pineapple and a gassy funk. Overall pleased with the last harvest but even more excited for this one. It's a shame you guys dont live closer I'd love to twist up some of this maui and pass it on to you all its really wonderful and has such a nice lower back tingle.

End of week 4 today. New shoots growing nicely, 2nd topping will be done on dream factory on friday, then chem 91 a few days after and the other 2 are a little slower so hopefully by next monday they will be good to go.

2nd topping done. One more to go next week then 2 more weeks to manage canopy and flip to 12/12. Keeping them really low around 1.4 ec up to 6ml of grow A and B per gallon feeding every watering. Light is still set at 50% intensity planning on raising 2% everyday once I flip a d eventually end up at 100% intensity around day 30 of flower.

Thank you it's been going smoothly but I sense a fight with some shoots in the near future. Not sure if I wanna use this scrog net that I bought or just keep going as is

Did some minor defoliation last night. Took off some of the lower nodes that were annoying me when watering, took off the bigger fan leaves that were blocking the lower branches and used some lst clips on the exodus cheese to try and keep her canopy even.

Week 6 from seed. All 4 doing well, got a slight bit of tip burn on the exodus but it's not too bad and it's been getting the same dose as the other 4. Ec at 1.7. Adding something new to flowering bought a 500ml bottle of power si bloom to add to the rotation, heard some really good things about the stuff and very eager to give it a try.

Nice @Costanza. I use Grow Genius, but it's largely the same thing. The MSA will make your stems strong by reinforcing your cell walls, and it will help with nutrient uptake big time. Do you know what % that stuff is of the MSA? Mine's 40%. I use two DROPS per gallon from the start of veg till the flip. It helps a lot. Just be careful when you go to move branches for training, as you're going to find the stems are stiffer than they were before you started to use it. It can sometimes make for easier breaks. That's been my experience anyway.

Ok glad someone has some experience with a similar supplement. I was originally planning on using the rhino skin from advanced but read some stuff on this and figured is give it a shot
