Green Crack Adventures

Welcome to my 2020 outdoor grow journal featuring adventures with Green Crack.
One of last seasons ladies must have had a banana I didn’t see because I have several seeds from my green crack plants and a couple from her blue Dream neighbour.
I germinated seeds for myself and my sister with 100% success...3 green crack and 1 Blue Dream/Green Crack.
The seeds were put in Jiffy seed starting mix on April 27 and all were up in just a couple days.
they stayed under random Amazon LED while they were just babies.
Two weeks from seed drop

At 3 weeks they went into the big tent along with their indoor sisters with this beauty lighting their way



At 4 weeks old they spent two days on the deck in filtered sun then went to their forever home in the garden.
They were planted in a 2 x2x2 foot hole. The bottom half is super soil (Full recipe on my indoor journal) and the top half is promix organic for fruit and veggies




you can see how the plants have stretched since they have been forced to slum it under the sun and where they are nice and bushy from being under the NextLight Mega. Amazing.
One week after being out I was checking the girls for sex....yes...5 weeks is early....but hey. check out what I found our lurking on my plants...

I sprayed with BTK on the evening we found them...and so the war begins...only 1 week in...

Im going to go out and get some good closeup pics of the others...now I’m afraid for their lives haha

time to change gears and figure out a plan B....running off to my seed vault....

I have a Durban poison clone that was gifted to me by my brother, maybe she could go in the empty space....she’s in a fabric pot currently...not sure if I want to dig her up or not...

I’ve got an auto outdoors this year. I’m trying it out to see if our short Alberta summers can grow an auto outside comfortably!

Interesting update...gave 4 plants to my sister...she just told me ALL 4 have balls!!! Interesting experiment but back to square 1 we go....

After a couple days in 60km/hr winds the three remaining girls are standing tall at about 3 1/2 feet...curious to see where this ends up lol

This area is the old pig pen from many years ago lol it’s in a low part of the yard and the plants are able to source their own water for the season.

I put in 7 seeds and got 7 sprouts back! Lol

My sister had 2 males in the end, so a couple Will go her way then will probably bag the rest and see what happens.....things get more interesting by the day. I cannot go to trim jail like i

We decided to resurrect the greenhouse hillbilly style

And inside discovered that my Blue Dream dropped me a couple seeds

Amazing it could grow like this with me giving it nothing! Better stay on top of topping this one. I don’t need a jungle nightmare like last year lol

so yet another chapter unfolds in this 2020 outdoor adventure....
