I cant press charges against my family. My mom didnt agree with me bringing it home unfortunately. Thought breaking the lights was too far though. What does everyone think? Was she right to do that?

I didn't realize it was someone else's home. I thought it was an angry ex-girlfriend.

Nah, she shouldn't have destroyed your property for doing something like that against her wishes. Should have given you the boot.

But moms are funny I guess.

Shame you didn't have a friend to let take care of them for you. Oh well, lessons learned and all that.

Yeah, you are all right. Bad move bringing it in the house! I didnt know she would have such a strong opinion on a plant. Anyway I have learnt from my mistake, thats the main thing. And Im sure the next grow, whenever it is, will have a happy ending. Thanks to everyone that taught me so much!

You can make her reimburse you for the cost of replacing the lights. Or you could break something of hers thats equal in value monetarily and emotionally.
