When my plants are normally 7"-8" tall I have them in 1 gallon size pots usually until they are larger and ready for transplant into 3 or 5 gallon size pots. If the medium stays wet for too long of time it slows growth, usually I water my plants every 3-4 days. Larger pot sizes than optimal for vegetative stage and growth height can cause slower growth due to the medium staying wet a longer time until the plant develops sufficient size roots and can use the volume of medium. Stagnant air flow with depleted CO2 in the grow area may also slow growth. 7"-8" of growth in 3 weeks from seed is not necessarily a bad growth rate. if you are able to distinguish the branches at the third node clearly to avoid cutting them if wish you may now Top your plants at the third node or wait for 1 more node of growth until you Top your plants if you prefer.

Thanks John I just looked at them and there more like 5 inch tall one of them is around 8" the nodes are really close together witch I like but they just seem really small compared to other pics I've seen at three weeks for white widow. Like you said I might have watered a little too much I only watered them when I transplanted them and there still very damp on top. I transplanted them from solo cups because the roots were binding up in the cup all over the place. If and when they get big enough I have 7 gal smart pots for there final home but if they stay this small this run I might just keep them in the 2 gal pots not sure yet. I have five more white widows that just popped up a few days ago I have them under a veg LED white and blue spectrum only to see witch panel works best for now on. I'm kinda rushing the first batch so I can have some meds I only wanted to veg for 5 or 6 weeks then flip but after that I'll veg for at least 2 months for now on. Have you ever cloned white widow I read there very hard to clone. I can take some pics if that helps? Thanks again for the reply I'll cut back on the watering this is all new to me but I'm learning as I go.

I have taken multiple cuttings and rooted clones for each one of the Black Widow plants. I have eliminated Black Widow #1 due to the tall, light, airy bud structure and low yield.

looks Great KJC I notice a lot of missing heads on 1 and 2 and some of the pics on 3 also have a lot of missing heads
just curious what happened to cause it

Due to having several flowering plants in the building the humidity was low during the drying phase and I believe that the missing trichome heads were broken during handling from the stalks and remain in my storage container the buds were cured to 62% humidity in.

John with the black widow did you ever get some light green faded looking leaves with dark veins? Today is the second time I gave them 1/4 strength nutes could it be the need more cal-mag?

Can you please take some photographs of the leaf damage you are describing? You should be feeding your seedlings full strength calcium and magnesium supplement and 1/4 strength nutrients now.

Yeah I goofed up I gave them 1/4 strength everything even the cal-mag I just added extra cal-mag with water and watered them I hope it helps. I'll post some pics in a sec

What are your grow area temperature and humidity levels? Your plants appear to be low in nitrogen, I would slightly increase the amount nutrients you are feeding your plants.
