Mago: Texas style

Oh yeah!!!,
I got two. It's Key to being Sustainable.
Not to mention about 1.5 acres of oak trees
and several years of leaf pile up under them.
Nobody has ever raked them up, Till Now :cheesygrinsmiley:

The one(small wire one) we dump house scraps in
has already yielded enough for the new eggplant seedling rows.
Friggin' tomato plants are popin' up in it too.

Need a Bobcat to work the big one
Or a couple farm hands.

Update on my
"keeping males alive after they done busted a nut" experiment.

Ain't worth the time and trouble :cheesygrinsmiley:
They died no matter if they were fed(fish Em.5-1-1) and watered or not.

Gota few new holes in after that lovely rain from Dolly.
Made diggin' real easy,
compared to the same soil and a 1.5 ft. lack of annual rain.
Stuff packs down like adobe bricks.

The bagged PureSativa is all bushy with hairy little buds.
And! no nuts so far.
Got worried last night,
out on the other side of town at my pool league
when I look up and it's friggin' pouring again.
I bagged her before I left
and just knew she would collect water and get laid down flat from the weight.
She didn't, only rained on that side of town.
May have to use some clothes pins to reduce the possible puddling on top of the bag.
I take the bag off as soon as it's dark,
so she doesn't build up heat and gets the cool evening air.

Yesterday was very nerve wracking,
water company was diggin' up a leak on the edge of the property.
That didn't worry me Too Much,
Until they started standing on and working on the back of a flatbed.
Never scoped thangs out from that height out there, myself.
So far so good,
no rippers or surveillance detected on patrol last night :cheesygrinsmiley:

Good report 'Man. :ganjamon:

Oh Dude,
what a terrifying end of the week I had!!!

Friday night,
the landlord called and is bringing a plumber out Saturday mornin'!

I spent the night relocating everything but the Bagged Darlin'.
PureSativa moma and MBB moma, ain't happy.
Dug 'em up and transplanted.
The jury is still out as to If they will live.
They are wilted but not crispy after 2 days.
Oh and temps are around 100 with 103 projected for today.
gave them a shot of fish emulsion the second night.
Water every night, it's dry everytime I check 'em.

They stayed till after 10am since I had to keep the bag on the other one,
she got scorched a bit, only a couple colas got it bad.

Damn and everything was Lookin' Sooo friggin' nice.
But I can safely say,
It was all Good(smrk),
and shall be for as long as I'm here :cheesygrinsmiley:
We got the okay from the landlord
to put a trailer on the back pasture.

Check the blog, for the whole story :cheesygrinsmiley:

Great story DaMagoMan. I love the part about your mind racing as he's looking at your "junipers"...lol...I can just picture it. :)

Dont you just hate landlords? But hey man atleast he gave ya a heads up! Of course he has to, or at least should....But Ive seen times where the landlord just showed up to my place without telling me. Good thing I was in a new home and havent set up the room yet.

Thanks Boss, Glad your back Buba :cheesygrinsmiley:

I love this one :cheesygrinsmiley:
We talked a bit about a price for this place.
14,000$us an acre is the norm,
But this being a corner property. 2 septic systems and a well.
He said he couldn't pass up 2 mil. for it If it was offered.

day 3 after transplant of the momas:
Still not crispy But still wilted.

But I got clones :cheesygrinsmiley:

Got eyes on 'em yesterday:
Moma MBB
is gonna lose all her leafs. A few crispy&curled ones for sure.
Her secondary growth may come back out.

Moma PureSativa
is a bit wilted but looks much better than MBB.
No crispy curled leafs.

The heat is gettin' to the 4and5 footers,
they seemed to have stopped at a few inches over 4&5 feet.

Bagged Darlin'(PureSativa) is fine. Didn't lose one cola.

Nothin' but 100+ degree days this week.

Daymn Mago...hope it gets better.. here's wishing good luck to ya.
My little he-she is doing better :)

peace:roorrip:

I don't suppose you can setup a hose and misting stick to have on till about 11 am and back on about 4pm eh? It would probably help them shed some heat. Of course, it will up the visibility. Best I can say is pour Ice cubes around the base of the plant. It shouldn't harm them, and the cool roots will help with the heat.

Long way to run the waterlines.
When I get a trailer out there, I'll have to :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm stayin' ahead of the heat by watering every night.
They are all satvia/SativaDom Tough asses :cheesygrinsmiley:

Moma PureSativa is Looking Great.
Never even know she was transplanted a week ago.

the Texas bagseed I had, is a male.
damn thang flowered in 14.2 day hrs.@2-3 months !?!

Hash Plant is up and still in a cup.

Sure ain't easy,
the 5+ footer was wilted the other night.
But she perked right back up after a good drink.

looks like the key is to keep them watered good.

They say we should hit 103 or better today.

I stripped leaves of MBB the other night
and when I got back into the light,
I found I had pulled off 3 green and healthy grow tips.
Recon' I won't do that Again in the Dark.

We are currently under Exceptional drought conditions.
For y'all non-weather channel folks,
there are 3 drought levels, Sever, Extreme and Exceptional.

I miss spoke('er wrote :)
There are 4:
Moderate
Sever
Extreme
Exceptional, we ended July a foot or better in the hole.

I really hate cheerin' for a hurricane
But Damn!!! We need the rain!!!
At least it's a little blow and doesn't have time or much space to spin up.

I pulled Moma MBB last night.
She may have come back But I need the hole and some smoke :cheesygrinsmiley:
Since there haven't been any rodent raids in that area, I'll stick her most vigorous clone in it.

Looks like one of the smaller MBB Darlin's died or should I say fried.
She left pretty crispy last night, may just have been her lower leafs.

Mullaway's Url. are ready for bigger pots.
May just put them all in the ground, not sure yet.

Have to get the indoor cranked up here Soon.
got Momas that'll need to come into the light of Veg :cheesygrinsmiley:
