Mago: Texas style

Me Friggin' Too !!! Tired of smokin' leaf and dead Darlin's

Yeapper, 3 generations of the Sativa(4th in the field)
and (4th crossed back to the Sativa, seed is ready for plantin')Blue Bastards.
Some may even be 4th and 5th,
But I got pretty wasted(while tryin' to stay free)
the last one or 2 and sorta lost track.
Mago Farms, nope I ain't shy
Still tryin to figure out if I got any SuperBlueGrass (3rd gen.) mix left
or I mis-labeled 'em.

The KyChronic is showing the most trichrome production from the get Go.
They ain't but 8 or so inches tall with solid buds on top, about 2-3 inches,
And frosty lookin' Already.
Sorta why I'm disappointed at not havin' Da'boyz from Mullaway's genes.
Would have been(may yet be!) a great cross.
A strain that Just begs to be spread into the Hills of Appalachia and the HeartLand!!!

So back to the RescueOp Darlin',
the cuttings she took were huge, 6+ nodes.
They were in a zipLoc bag with a wet paper towel wrapped around the cuts/bottoms.
I took 7 tops off these. Which left me some leftovers.
Mid branch cuttings, the hardest thang you will ever, if you even try, to root.
These I put into a gal. pot, still in the ziploc(never took them out) and added some more water to the bag.
They wouldn't fit under the Dome with the other clones.
damn, I didn't want to lose them.
What to do!?!

My milk jugs,
the ones with the bottoms cut open.!??!
They fit right over the top of the gal. pots and had enough head room for the tall stems.
Everybody is perky and Happy Now :cheesygrinsmiley:
And I was worried, they were lookin' sad by night fall that evening.
Next day they were hangin' in there and
had perked up a little but still had me worried.
Comin' up on a week and I ain't worried Now :cheesygrinsmiley:

Theres nothing better than having good genetics. The only thing better than having good genetics is genetics youve created yourself. Ive done my own breeding projects withgreat results, simple crosses at the most. Its a key point to breed with strains that compliment eachother. Ive messed around and came out with a strain that was less potent than the mother. When you get it right theres no comparrison, the potency is never an issue, always through the roof. Last project I was workin on was Knights Templar(Herijuana genes) x Blue Moonshine, would of been a killer cross.....Too bad the law caught up with me so the whole project was put to rest. I have extra Knights Templar pollen with no mother to reproduce seeds. Motarebel got shut down the hard way....So theres no way for me to carry on these genetics other than to create a cross. Im so pissed about that! You live some and ya get a learnin I guess.

Mornin' Buba :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's what I like to play with ... besides hot women :cheesygrinsmiley:
Breeding,
I've grow these under conditions that have made them seem less than what they were.
But that was Just That crop, the genes they retained are still just as good :cheesygrinsmiley:
It's all part of the process.
I'm a strong believer that environmental effects are passed to the next generation.
Soo, It stands to reason, to me at least, exposure equates to resistance.
If they are bred during hotter than norml contitions,
the following generations can handle the heat better,
sorta the same for pest resistance.
They were exposed to Bad mite infestations and with the hot & dry conditions I've seen here this go and the mites that have had their way with the truck garden,
I've not had one problem with them and the Darlin's.
That could change after I start bringing them indoors
But if I'm right, it won't.

Even smell, maybe.
I know for sure Gen3 doesn't smell as strong as Gen1
and yeapper, sometimes you have to cross/cross-back to regain potency :cheesygrinsmiley:

But for now it's just theory and Time will Tell :cheesygrinsmiley:

I noticed something very strange,
all the Sativa dom plants that have been out since Feb.-Mar. have a single seed developing under the fan leafs. They ain't balls But A seed.
Way I see it, when they went out and started to flower then re-veggied, they retained the pollen/fertilized cells, they collected Only there.
Pretty cool to see, all the new buds are just babies
and under almost every fan leaf node, on the lower/oldest part of the plant is a seed.
I may have found the perfect way to get a bit of a seed crop
and still end up with a Great harvest.
Since it's so few seeds,
the Power of the Plant isn't reduced enough to hamper the flowering growth
and the seeds will be fully developed before the harvest.
Just have to see what the seeds produce now.

That's an interesting phenomenon. I appreciate how immersed you get into what's going on at the farm, bubba. I know you got me hooked. lol

damn,
recon' I can get me one of them thar'
Life Exp. degrees from St Ed's or (dreamin' Now) UT!!???!! :cheesygrinsmiley:

This mornin's project ... 'er Realization
Since most of my largest Darlin's have been out since Mar.,
not in the ground out in the Wild since then But at the Mercy of Mother Nature.,
flowered and re-vegged this Long and now flowering again.
They got a fecesload of resins on them.

The Split Sativa Moma is a perfect case,
(ya' I tested it personal like)
half of her sorta died.
I been collecting and pullin' leaf off her, mostly.
The other night I went ahead and cut that side down. Earlier in the day I had removed some very long dead leafs that
were very dark brown to even black. (with lots of crystals on 'em)
Last night I have some folks over.
After a friend had given me some mids, about a joint or better.
We get back to the house and I had left it in my cigs at the bar.
No worry, it'll be there when we get back.
I break out the leaf and the fellas have at removing the stems from the leaf.
Buba rolls a norml leaf size joint, to me,
one of the biggest he's ever had the pleasure to roll. We smoke it and they get a buzz.
Okay, I know it ain't just me, now.
This mornin'/noon, I get the container that was used to disgard the cleanings and I also dumped the rollin' tray leftovers in it,
I'm scrapping around for a mornin' bowl,
there is what looks to be sand in the bottom..
Must be dirt, after the rain the leafs may have had a bunch on the bottom sides.
I break out the HandyScope, Damn, It's resin!!!!
And it burnt, not like dirt.
This leads me think I may have found
one more advantage('cuz it don't look to be a con to Me)
To starting outdoors as early as jan - Feb. and not worrying about them re-vegging.
Mo' resin, Mo' resin :cheesygrinsmiley:
Now if I could just figure out a system to catch what falls off during that time span, I'd be a Happy MoFo :cheesygrinsmiley:

Uluru update, I gota' couple boyz :cheesygrinsmiley:
I should have known the 2 tallest would grow balls.

Hash Plant is in full flower and 4 inches tall, cutest thang ya' ever did see.

DA MAGO!!! such progress leaves me breathless! lol how you been besides obviously turnin' your thumbs green? these hurricane/Tropical storm rains doin' you any good? I love when growers actually WANT there to be males. it shows true passion in the 'sport' so to speak. :)

Thanks BubaFillA :cheesygrinsmiley:
Tryin' to hang in there till harvest,
down to the fingernail grip.
Not as much as they have appeared to help those east of us.
I just hate buyin' seed :cheesygrinsmiley:

Now back to the "dirt" in the bottom of my rollin' tray :cheesygrinsmiley:
Looks like its 30-40% sand,
at least that's the only thang I can think of to explain the "cloudy" globs.
Since cloudy trichs/resin turns clear after harvest.
I cleaned it out and tossed it in the "Trash pot" to cook down later.

The temps have been down to bare able the last week.
I've been able to cut back on watering to once every other day.

One of the SailorBabe(RescueOp) plants is male,
since it's in the same bucket as the Darlin's,
I'll let him have his way and chop him when he's done.
It's a Indica and smells great, so might as well let him be.

Everything is comin' along nicely.

Pics, the next time a Good camera shows up :cheesygrinsmiley:

My milk jugs,
the ones with the bottoms cut open.!??!
They fit right over the top of the gal. pots and had enough head room for the tall stems.
It didn't work out so well, they grew mold and didn't root.
Maybe just a damp towel would work.

its cost effective and you can show off a new strain ;-)
found a mushroom laden spot that i hope to turn into an outdoor soon as well. truly satartin to scurtinize your grow at this point. my plans for an indoor seemed to have been put on a two year hold.lol

Ay!?! how'd I get in here !??!

Thangs are lovely :cheesygrinsmiley:

Full bloom to a few days off first harvest.

The KyChronic is about 90cloudy/10amber
seed is running, 60/40 good to white as of last week.
Not much smoke but a very Nice seed yield.
High resin gland production from flowering onset,
finishes in 50-60 days outside.
She's a skunky Indica and I'm real glad I put them out late
so they didn't get over 12 inches and stinkup the Hood :cheesygrinsmiley:

MMM love that cannaskunk stank! my favortie!

hope to see some pics man! if not im sure your buzzin will show your ahrd work off man!

DaMagoMan...sounds great ! and what are ya doing here ?! It ain't finished ! :p
I want pics and I want them NOW ! <3 :grinjoint:
