James, how come we haven't seen you in our perpetual journal? You should really check it out. We have a huge room full of lovely ladies. There is some fluxing, cloning, autos, photos, flower, veg, even 1 revenue hopeful. We will probably be extracting the oils from some buds tomorrow. Fun fun fun! The link is in my signature. Looks awesome, hope mine turns out even half as good. Did you do that lower temp and rh thing for the color change and resin? Pk will be one of six strains for my next grow, gonna use this as a guide. Good smoking

We let the dark period Temps get down to the lower 60s the last 2 weeks and we have been doing the same with these. They will get a full 48 hours of darkness before harvest. For future grows I would like to add 10,000k lights the last few weeks to frost them up even more. Read that it is possible that it helps. Thanks for wanting to use this as a guide. Cool thanks for the info, I want to see how purple the Pk can get. So you only need to lower the temp during the dark period? That will make it a lot easier. Even with my ac I can only get my tent down to mid 80s with that 1000w burning.

For those of you that are not following our perpetual journal...Here...I have some pictures of Claudia and Elaine getting harvested. They have been drying a week and are now in jars with 62% boveda packs. Enjoy!
We have pre cure weights after drying for a week on these two and I am happy thus far. Claudia weighed in at 88.6 grams and Elaine is at 57.6 grams. We are very happy with that for our first grow. The next two will be coming down maybe next weekend. Ill say a week to 10 days.

HARVEST TIME!
Tonight we harvested the last two plants from our first grow. We are more than happy with the first grow and it can only get better from here! It took us about 2 and half hours from start to finish, even though we had a scissor malfunction and had to go to a pair without a spring in it so my hand cramped up quite a bit.
These two were 9 weeks from the first flower and sprouted in the first week of February and were flipped March 20th. We put them into a 4x2 tent for 48 hours for complete darkness and the buds are super sticky and smell fantastic. Anyways enough with the talking. Time for the photo dump. Enjoy!
For the first one we have Betty!
Break for a and then we go to Ethel!
And here they are all hanging up to dry for the 5-7 days.
There we have it. We have all but finished our first grow and I think with all four plants we will be pretty darn close to 10 ounces dry since the first two had 5 ounces dry. I predicted 9 ounces before any harvesting so I am extremely happy about that. We should have enough to last us until our next harvest...may be a couple ounces short depending. So we have hopefully become efficient enough to not have to buy anymore cannabis. In the end I can't explain on how happy we are with the outcome. We tried a little scissor hash and it gets the job done to say the least.
We would like to say thank you for everyone that has helped us along with this grow. We wouldn't be able to do all of this without any of you. Thank you all for all of the compliments and nice words, it truly means a lot. I would like to think that these results are not the best we will have and will strive to do more.
We have tons of plans for the future and will be stepping out of our comfort zone and pushing ourselves to be better cultivators and more efficient. We are not trying to grow pounds to sell, we just want enough to satisfy our wants and needs and have a bit of variety.
Everyone enjoy your weekend, you deserve it. I know we will. Stay classy friends.
