Ok, I'll be the one to ask what the solo cup is.

It is propped up right in the middle of the tent and at canopy level. We put our thermometer/hygrometer on it. We knocked it over when we were doing the back building. I usually take it out before pictures.Ok, I'll be the one to ask what the solo cup is.

Did you check out that dry ice hash video yet, Nismo? Healing Kronic says the clean up was nothing compared to making bubble hash with ice and water
That is a sweet video! I would probably modify the table he uses. Looks like it wasn't all contained. Maybe just having edges on the table would help so you don't lose any of that wonderful kief. Thanks for the link. We will be trying that in the future. .

A lot of what you saw blowing out was the fumes from the dry ice. Edges on the table would catch a lot of that as well. I would think you could use a large mirror in a frame or something like that if you have it.
I did notice the vapor from the dry ice, but the kief went clear to the edge of the table.
for the mirror idea! I'm on a lot of swap sites in our area and seem to find helpful treasures. I'll have.to keep an eye out for a mirror. Thanks again for the help. It's much appreciated.

Well here we are with today's update.
Earlier for some reason I saw the hairs turn amber and freaked out. Then I was reminded that it is the trichomes not the hairs. (Anxious father) so they are doing good other than the fact that it has been hot here and we need to figure out better cooling or exhaust.
On another note, we did some backbuilding by cutting off the tip of the bud and a couple hairs. Have heard nothing but wonderful things from it. And if it does nothing, we are not really out anything. Maybe a gram. I've smoked more than that tonight haha. Oh speaking of which, in a couple days we will have some samples.

Guessing to start flush in 10 days. A lot can happen between now and then.
On a lighter note, is it OK to take some of the bigger fan leaves off of the top Colas? Seems like they are blocking some light.
YES. Get rid of them..there useless..
Old school, do we take all of the larger fan leaves, or just some?

Well we haven't had an update in a while with pictures. Tonight they got what may possibly be their last feeding. It is week 6 of flower and depending what the trichomes look like this weekend, the flush may start. Just ordered a 420 scope. Hopping it works better than the one that clips on my phone. Can't help but shake it is difficult to focus.
Some defoliating of large fan leaves were taken off of 2 of them over the last few days as an experiment. This grow has a combination of FIM and topping, backbuilding, scrog, and others. Seeing what works and what is preferred for us. Basically getting a ball park figure for future grows.
Tonight ChaChing was added to the feeding at 6.3 pH and 1500 ppm. Hoping to add on some more weight! As of now I'm thinking 8 ounces or so total. If it's less or more, we will still be happy. Everyone have a good night.
