RQS Critical 6-Pot RDWC 1st Grow

@Ganjagrandaddy
Allright thanks for the advice. Can’t wait to take them down!
And even more excited to start a coco grow :D
What’s the difference between smartpots and fabric pots btw? Or is it the same..
I read somewhere that a guy used the small fabric pots to start them in and then puts the whole plant with fabric pot in a bigger fabric pot and the roots grow through the small fabric pot into the bigger one. So made it really easy to repot them. Not sure if it works but could give it a try.
Was thinking about using the Canna coco line. Are there much more nutes/bacterias besides Cal/Mag that I need for the coco grow? Btw the GHE flora I use can also be used in coco right? Will have to do a little research in what nute package I need gor the next grow :D
Looking forward seeing you start with your coco grow! Cheers bud:thumb:

wow look at them beasties . Love seeing your updates now too. So stoked your yield has met your expectations here. Seeing the great results from your scrog is a bonus too. For your 1st official grow , you have nailed it mate. Kept stress down to nothing. been fairly autonomous grow for you to since screen took over.
you will love the coco.
Fabric pots and air pots are same thing except those ones with the dimples and holes. The concept being that when theybreach the edge and hit air , they prune themselves and make a new root leaving the old one to send the fine hairs out . More roots , more fruits !. They work great. I have now up potted to the final pots( only just finished) I subbed you into the barneys new grow but it is also in my signiture below " The Phantom Og the opera goes apeshit" . They are doing great but def needed the up pot. As for nutes , the gh can be used with no issues. I am using some leftover plagron coco from a previous grow before i open the new gh trio. I was a pot short too so had to make one from chicken wire and anti frost sheeting. Will do the job i hope lol. pop over and have a peek if you get time. you will be disposed for a while when your forest gets felled. lol.
great job mate

Very nice. Should be a good yield from that lot Peter. Bet it smells good when you get amongst them.
Yeah I really hope so! And the smell is really really really heavy! They have a great smell :D

So what pots are you using, still trying to find out the best choice for me to grow on coco.
For my first real grow I’m very happy with the results so far, but Ihave to say I really wouldn’t be this far without all the help on this platform.. especially your help @Ganjagrandaddy so thanks for helping me out with sharing your knowledge mate!
And looking forward growing the coco along with you mate:D I like to challenge myself with different ways to grow to keep it interested to me.
Will take a look at your new phantom og grow :thumb:

I am going with 27 litre fabric pots mate. plenty of grow space for roots and will go from seedling to harvest in it. I had to make one with chicken wire and fabric too as i am missing one pot.lol Am going to do an update now they are re potted and getting settled again. need to work out floor space for final push but still only using 1 light at moment as they are still young.

With allot of enthousiasm I'm finally starting my first grow with the RDWC system.

I did allot of research myself to get an understanding about this system and I hope there are more on this platform that have experience with this system and can give me some tips and help on the way of my first growth.

Light: HLG Quantumboard 600h (600W) 3000K LED

air: 340m3 fan

Tent: 1.20x1.20x2.00m (4x4)

Nutes: General Hydroponics flora trio, Botanicare Hydroguard/silicablast/Cal-Mag, Great white, Humboldts Golden Tree, Advanced nutrients voodoo juice.

medium: Claystones and rockwool

I bought the rdwc system new along with the Quantumboard led's, so they will run for the first time:)
Also on good advise from here I wrapped all of the buckets to prevent heat getting inside the buckets.
Nice set up I have the same 6 pot 3 lane only problem I’ve found is resy needs to be bigger as EC and ph moves around a lot in flower

I noticed that the pH was more stable at 6.0 to 6.2 instead of the “ideal” 5.8 where it was dropping constantly

Got all the ladies hanging in 2 layers
Was quite a job I didn’t expect lol
Took some pics of the quadline and roots before getting rid of
