I might have to try the string screen sometime. Looks like easy for harvest, cut string and walla... Plants are free.

I actually set mine at 2.5 inches square. Last harvest I thought I would have to cut the string but they came out whole without a ton of effort. String is cheap but if you do make sure you use the braided and not twisted line it is way stronger and you can pull it super tight.

Beautiful SCROG I think I may try to build something similar on my next. I like the wood frame and how it allows you to pull the string tight.

I am the kind of guy who would rather build my screen than buy it. I try to make everything that I can because it gives me a feeling of accomplishment. I also like to customize things my way. I guess that goes along with being a carpenter most of my life.

Ok here is the screen last night. Officially Day 4 of flower. Hoping I wont run out of space I have about 6 inches more I can raise the lights and that is it. They are stretching still hoping the crown out in next couple weeks. Experimenting is fun (unless it is a circle jerk) so only time will tell if the stack-a-scrog will work out good.

I have began to trim the undergrowth a little at a time. Will finish cutting it all out by the end of next week. I am going to go more extreme on the undergrowth than I did last ScroG.

Looking good Teldren, but you still have a lot more stretch if its only day 4 of flower. You can still LST, supercrop or even prune the top of the plant to keep height in check right up until about day 21 of flower, and it won't cause the plant any problems.

Yeah I am going to try to let them go until I cant anymore. Then I will start pulling them down and tie them off if I have to. I began super cropping some of the taller ones.

Smart fella on trimming below the screen. Keep doing it till there aren't ANY leaves or buds or anything but stem and stalk. I feel it's more about air flow than any thing else, (aside from the other obvious that shaded buds are weak and suck energy.)

I wish I had your carpentry skills, man does it take me forever to build anything. I'm still building on my project over a year into it, lol

I did some more under-screen de-foiling. I take the undergrowth slowly a little at a time to reduce stress on the plants.

U mentioned earlier how thick the bubba stalks are, it's kinda amazing. I had a bubba I was going to cull. I decided to Mess with it a little. I pretty much Snapped the stem right in the middle and it was bent at a 45°. Next night the plant was completely vertical again like nothing ever happened. Those BK's are tuff!

Well day 10 of flowering brought a long night on. I went to the grow room last night to find that the power to the garages is screwed up. Not the breakers either. I had to cut the string on the screen and carry 6 huge plants into my apartment. Sucked balls but here is my closet lol. Wifes clothes smell like weed. Good thing she works for the state.

Ok sorry for gaps in updates. Shit has been crazy. Wife is in South Africa for two more weeks, got the two kids by myself, and fixed a ton of shit! Power is back baby!

Welcome to Stack-A-ScroG II!
Here are some pics starting two days ago when I began demolition and the new construction. I put about 16 hours into it over two days.

Demolition is done and everything is cleaned up. I moved the Stack-A-Scrog 90 degrees and raised the ceiling 12 inches and insulated everything real good and replaced the foam sheeting.
