3x300W LED, Purple Kush, Scrog, Soil, Grow

I did a little bit of research into this PK strain.. turns out.. short is in it's nature.. so .. rather than wait for it to get to the net.. I lowered it a few inches to help things along.. that way I can train around this week as it grows and just keep it wide as the lower / outer branches need the help.

I also lowered the LED's since this doesn't look to be the problem.. just a short fat plant! ;p

well that's something to look forward to.. I'm changing the pos of the timelapse cam.. I'll be able to see just how much these plants are growing up.. I'd enjoy seeing a stretch for flower =) hopefully that happens like you.. another reason I'm hanging the screen.. mobile! ;p

RO water tonight was 850-1000-1020 so I think I've hit the max on veg nutrients for now.. which is good as I want to switch to 12/12 on next watering aka Fri. =)

I did some tucking of the canopy tonight as well.. not a massive growth over the past 2 days but def something.. here's an updated shot.

Tonight I'll make the switch to 12hr. I gave a normal CalMag Water flush with RO water in the 800-600-700 range along the three plants. I followed up with a 1G 5ml Calmag, 2ml Sili and 2/2/2 of the flora series. ppm came out to 1670. and the RO water was 670/770/680 timing has been changed to 8a-8pm. let the budding start at the end of week 9. Day 64.

Gave a full Blooming feeding tonight.. 1/2/3 of flora series and the normal 5ml / 2ml of calmag/sili. RO's are still pretty much the same so same update.. but here is some updated photos.. the stretch is real did a lot of tucking and tying off tonight.

and the watering bucket worked great for normal watering but feeding and RO water removal with the zipper in the way.. not so much.. so I oped for this as a extraction and delivery.. powerhead with tube.. works great!

Just a watering today of calmag'd water.. nothing special.. just lots of growth and tucking.. I'm happy with the canopy so will let most of them just grow up.. there are a few bare spots.. but for the most of it.. it's nice and full.. I just pulled some down to keep them even.. and raised the lights up some to get more coverage on the outer parts.

this evening I did another 1/2/3 watering after the normal calmag watering to flush out the soil first. nothing new to update RO was 670-720 before feeding and 700's after. plants look great.. I'm done tucking and just going to let them grow as they please until harvest. here's some updated photos. I'm very happy with how these look as to my last grow.. must more full and even.. =)

Each time I see such a beautiful Purple Kush it makes me sad that mine hermied. I'll definitely be popping in another round after a couple other strains.

opened up the tent tonight... how cool is this.

I didn't think they were gonna turn purple till late flower with a temp drop.. but they are turning already.. not to mention.. the size almost ... seems to of BULKED up nicely..

hopefully this isn't a problem.. cause they look amazing imho

Nope this strain is usually purple right out the gate.

Looking great. That Scrog net filled out perfectly.

I have never seen a journal on this strain before, but those purple flowers look absolutely incredible.

Lastnight I did another feeding (1x2x3) .. original RO was 680-720 Nuts in ppm was 1300 and RO was 740. I'm feeding every other watering thus far.. so every 4-5days a feeding. I can't remember if I did this in my previous grow or I did once a month.. I wasn't keeping track to much with that one..

Everything is looking good.. I've not touched the underside for trimming.. I did have one little branch lastnight weep and start to look sad.. so I snipped him off. (or her) so tonight I may look for more smaller branches and do the same.. but from what I can see I've got 75% more bud heads than I did on my previous three plants. wewt!

Just finished some time in the tent.. I did a good trimming on the lower side.. removed weeping branches that are getting no light / leaves blocking etc.. it still isn't as bare as a lot of scrogs I see.. but I really can't get in there easily to trim nor do I really mind.. I can water easily and everything looks great.

For watering tonight.. I decided to do one different.. I did the normal calmag.. but also added 2ml of silicon per g of water.. just to add a lil boost. (415 going in RO was 730 ) I'm good with those numbers. and it appears the plants are too.. if I'm wrong on this.. I'm very welcome to help.

And just for SnG lets see if they root.. I don't have any other tent for clones.. but why not.

I also ordered another charcoal filter.. my current one is either leaking or just shot.. I'll update on that when it arrives tomorrow
