Hi, This is my first time growing in coco. I’m using advanced nutrients PH perfect grow, bloom and micro as well as cal/mag. Seed sprouted 12 days ago. 1 leaf is becoming discoloured. Any ideas? Should I be worried?

Usually, I find myself griping when someone asks for help with diagnosis and treatment of one of their plants and then decide to use their blurple LED panel to illuminate the photograph in order to guarantee that we cannot see an accurate color image of the ailing plant. But I'm feeling a little nostalgic at the moment and your version reminds me of the black lights that were popular when I was a teenager - so I won't be griping this time, lol.

On the other hand, it does make attempting to help comparable to throwing darts at a "what can the problem be?" list, IMHO, since the only person who can really see what the plant looks like... is the person who is asking the question  .

A couple of general things, though:

It can be helpful to vary the pH of your nutrient solution ever so slightly, because the various elements that pants need don't have identical availability at a given pH. Take a look at a nutrient availability (by pH) chart to see what I mean. Make sure you're looking at one for hydroponics, because the numbers differ between soil and hydroponic media.

Has your coco coir media been well rinsed and pretreated with something like calcium nitrate with a dash of Epsom salt (for magnesium) in order to replace the (over)abundance of sodium and phosphorous with calcium and magnesium, prior to placing your plants into it?

Plant seems to be doing well, recently switched to an 18/6 light cycle.
Was planning on moving her into her 5 gal cloth pot.
I have increased the nutrients level and started using a weakened cal/mag solution as a foliar spray.
