i know i am super late on your journal but you mentioned some of your seeds didn't sprout. I keep it simple in my germination and i usually get about 95% to pop.

put seeds in warm water in dark area for 24 hours. Move to paper towel. pour water from bowl on to paper towel. Place in plastic bag for a day or two or really until i see them break open. Once i see this i move them in to rock wool and place in a seedling tray will dome. Dump water into dome and place light over dome for 24 hours on. Once they get a few inches in height i move them in to final net pot.
