hi everyone!
im looking at getting a one of these 8 autopot systems for my new garden, just wondering on how i fill the pots.
im going to be scrogging my next garden so the easiest way i thought is to buy one of these systems and i could have a low canopy & easier way to flush rather than trying to raise the pots for excess runoff.
these pots on this system are 25L.
can i put 5L of clay pebbles at the bottom then 20L of coco on top? or can i use my coco/perlite mix?
im wanting to re-use the coco from my last grow, its been washed through, but it has a perlite mix in it, will this be a problem?
im planning on putting a 1" layer of sand on top of the pots just incase any pests decide they want to take a dive in, the reason being is if my canopy is so low then im going to struggle looking in the pots, can i do this and not cause any problems?
am i also to water them from the top when i first transplant or to just let the roots find there way through the clay pebbles to feed from the bottom?
