BT's Organic - High Brix Update Thread

I got year old mothers in 5 gallon so I do not see why 3 gallon would not work if you keep the mother well trimmed and do not let her grow to big to need a huge root system to feed.

You will just need to prune the roots and repot a little more often. No biggie. Fives would probably be less hassle but either should work. I am going to be doing the same but with the fives.

Hey Guys,

Here is the usual picture update.
Organic C99- Pistols are just starting to turn orange but not very many yet. I hope my organic mix is strong enough for bloom, I think i might make an bloom tea to help her along.

They both look great, not much to say. I switched the one to a different side to be my mother plant and thankfully my cat drench fiasco didn't screw up anything(yet), both of them shot up even after being topped. In that last picture you can see the roots just get to the bottom and im thinking a week from now i can transplant to my 7 gal depending how bunched they look.

So much for having new genetics to add, for some reason my card was declined after pending for 3 days and my card company and the seed company said it the others fault. On top of that when i went to try a new card if found the Dr Krippling Blue Kripple Feminised Seeds were out of stock now. #justgrowerproblems

Anyone good at fluid dynamics? I have a tray that hold a gallon of water that I put in front of my fan bringing fresh air into my veg room, this helps keeps humidity up but because its only a gallon I have to keep filling? it up. What I want to do is make it gravity fed from a 5 gal bucket but im worried about it over flowing, Is this something I can achieve? I could go online and find out but I like talking to people.

Look for a bucket with a spigot. Beer brewing companies have em. I brew my own beer and its what id use. Theyre 5 gal buckets with a good spigot and a lid to keep the nasties out :)

Why not take a look at the poor mans air conditioner that COF made but without ice, just water and it can be the size of you chosen.
But then again I bought a humidifier for my main flowering tent, it has adjustments to keep humidity where you want it, I have mine on the intake side of the tent, it has 3 setting hi-med-low and adjust from, 0%- 100% with detachable tank for easy filling. I usually leave it on low without any problems.

Worried about power, it's an old house with a horrible wiring job so trying to no plug in to many things.

I think there are too many variables to accurately provide the information you're looking for BT (ambient rh, ambient temp, cfm airflow across bucket). Even a hillbilly setup will work, there's just more trial and error and the adjustments may not be as dynamic, but it'll work.

Small Update
I have really just given up on my Organic plant at the moment, it has some difficency and I really havent felt like figuring it out now that im running brix. Its still alive and but has small buds and lots of dead leaves so its dead to me. I have focused all energy towards high brix because thats all that matters.

Last night I transplanted both my ladies from 3 gallons up to 7 gallon fabric pots, i went with this new brand of pots called GeoPots and they seem to be constructed quite well so we shall see how they hold up. My roots were amazing best I have seen yet and super easy to remove they then got scored and a dash of roots. Overall plant health is rocking and everything is looking the right green, notice they dont have that shine but im still happy.

My photos are crap, sorry. It was late and my camera was dying.
Look how bone dry that baby is.

Good job finding out what bone dry is....try to catch them a few hours short of bone dry if possible and give them a good soaking. Now you're growin.....

The shine will come in bloom BT. You're doing a great job, nothing is going to stop you now.

Subbed. I'm loving all the high brix Platinum grows. These journals are the sh!t. These are EXACTLY what I'm looking to do and they are a wealth of knowledge. Thank you!

Mind if I pop in and out to watch? I know nothing about High Brix so want to see what they can do.

Your girls look very good BlazinThat. :goodjob:

Frosty Holidays to All!

Woo time for the weekly update, I hope everyone is having a or will have a great weekend.
So here is my Organic plant currently under my P450 and its having a horrible time and is not happy as you can see.
4 main issues: Didnt find a mite problem till just about flower time, been battling since. My environment was not perfect, and neither is my organic mix but I found a place that tests soil that I will use but its not like it really matters because im a kit man now. Then the last major problem was it didnt get flush between veg/flower. At this point it just gets water and liquid karma some fish hydroslate to help it along I gave up on it besides tying it together to hold it up because it is still putting on weight.

My camera game wasnt on point so I apologize for the horrible pictures.
This are my two Brix ladies both Clones from the Organic plant taken just before I noticed the mites. The joy of Brix is not problems and no pests, both plants are mite free and thriving. The one plant isn't special its been the mom plant for the cuts I took. Both plants were transplanted a week ago and will sit in veg for another week so they can get a energy drench and enough water time before the cat drench in flower. You can see on the big one that after the transplant it tried to take off but was greeted by the led right in its face, this resulted in some bleached tops and the wicked leaves you see so removed the plant from its table and brought it down.
Other then that im really happy with everything Brix and cant wait to get this ladies under 11/13.

You're too hard on yourself man. That plant is still pretty hefty and will add to your stash while you wait on the high brix harvest. lmao, I get a little aggravated at myself too when I don't take the time to get good pictures. It's usually an afterthought after I get in there and do the stuff I really want to do.

Anyway, good looking grow dude. Rock on.
