Cannabis Oil Dosing Tutorial: Tacking Method

Good Morning Cannafan you SweetHeart.......listen please...

January 2016 will be one of the best months of your entire life, I have no doubt!!!

You see, of all the people here.......I KNOW that the oil works.

There is no "seeing if" it will work.

Since I was supposed to die by July 2015......and you can see the date of this post.....YOU ALSO KNOW THE OIL WORKS!

I also know you're strong and smart ("I've had the same experience as you, growchick"). So, you have grown top shelf bud, made potent medication, and tack properly.

Pie and cake.

The oil IS doing it's job. You have that 600 million year old endo-cannabinoid system inside you that is doing it's job.

Now it's your big brain's most important job ever. Your big brain is more powerful than the oil (don't tell anybody! ...except those you love).

My most powerful c. fighting weapon: I absolutely KNEW the oil killed c.... Lab results and Tommy Chong PROVED it beyond any doubt. All I had to do was believe. You must also. You must employ that big brain and power it to YOUR will. My brain isn't so big so you'll have no problemo, just embrace the challenge!!!

You go girl...:Namaste:....have no fear!

Thank you John.
I had edited my post, but you got to it before I did. LOL It's a weird thing with me on privacy I guess, and there are so many people who are in much more serious situations than I.
.
I was supposed to get my follow ups last year, but the "big bang" happened to me and I just couldn't deal with everything nor could I afford the cost of the medical visits (no health insurance). I had to throw out my plants, my oil..everything that would connect me to growing. Looking for a new job meant no oil, due to the drug testing. I had been on the oil for quite a few months, so my brain said to me "Have confidence in the oil, deal with everything else now". I had to choose what to deal with, literally... or go completely insane and lose everything.

There are so many benefits to this oil besides killing cancer cells, a few that I have just recently discovered. It will be with me permanently now.

I hold onto my confidence that I will be a success story, as you...and that I can go onto maintenance doses as so many others have been able to achieve.

I have become a master tacker, that makes me feel great. I get ZERO high with my tacking. :) Which is why a video, in my opinion, would be so much help here. Not sure if it's even possible.

Don't know why I feel so much like I need reassurance, but it is what it is. Maybe it's because the time is drawing so close now. Motoco, yourself, Cajun and the rest of you have been such a tremendous help, and I know there are others out there who certainly need this confidence more than me!
Thanks so much!
Luvs and hugs my friend.

:circle-of-love:

We can all use a little reassurance every now and then. My way to pay it forward because of my success. Take what you need and pass left.

:Namaste:

Sam...God Bless you and your Girlfriend and may Peace find you,

Of Course the stress of your situation would cripple the normal soul. You have so much to fear, ...that it's natural. And you are here, strong in the face of overwhelming odds.

Stress is the biggie here...

Would that I could wave a wand and have you both here with me, with ample meds and PEACE.

But we must do with what we have.

Don't let a sloppy tack and a weird western med interrupt your gf's protocol especially if this is a life threatening illness! This may well be your MISSION in life. Indica is OK although mood is much better with daytime sativa.

Before I go on....what illness, if I may be so bold?

Missed the point:Yes, anxiety seems to crank up the pain sensors and being stoned DOES NOT HELP.

If you understand that this is natural human instinct....take control of your mind....create peace. Yes, it'll feel fake at first. It'll feel real second...believe in the power of your restful mind.

Believe in the power of your restful mind.

:Namaste:

Thanks John. The closest we've come to a diagnosis is Chronic Lyme Disease with Mold/Mycotoxin Illness (plus some other genetic issues to make things more difficult). We're seeing an ENT specialist tomorrow as she has been having a lot of difficulty swallowing and sleep apnea, which they think is caused by narrow sinuses/airways (rather than being overweight). The concern is there is a structural problem that may need dealing with (possibly surgery is a CPAP machine doesn't help).

I've told her we need to get back on the oil, and I've learned more about it so am expecting better results (we have been dabbling with the oil for about 12 months, without much success). I'm going to do it with her this time. Tack for tack.

We are reducing our dr visits (because they often don't do anything helpful - not necessarily their fault), which is helping a lot with the stress.

Excellent idea to go tack-to-tack with her Sam. :high-five: Not only will it boost her confidence and keep her regular but it'll help you feel your way through the process with much clearer vision. Plus, your body gets the boost back to homeostasis. Win/win. I'm impressed.

Stay the course and believe against all odds. That choice is always yours. One step at a time Sam. Good luck with the visits.

Look into Buteyko Breathing technique. There's a lot to be said for training your body to breathe more efficiently before they strap you to a vacuum cleaner pushing air up your nostrils or go the surgical route. This program charges, unfortunately, but I found that a perusal of their information followed by a search through yoga breathing techniques helped me narrow the search for something I could use with my husband. Not that he followed my advice very closely, mind you. Your love may be better inclined to self-improvement than mine was. :battingeyelashes:

Canna, the idea that anyone's concerns could be more important than yours is erroneous. Just thought you should hear that.

I think a video of someone tacking would be enormously helpful. Frankly, I'm shocked one doesn't exist yet. There honestly isn't one available anywhere? Thanks for sharing your success with euphoric-free tacking. I can imagine this concern would be a great deterrent to someone considering tacking. Your share may help swing someone further along towards a decision to go for it.

Look into Buteyko Breathing technique.

Great minds... Have just printed a guide on doing this (her dentist recommended she try this out). So, another thing I will be doing as well.
:Namaste:

Will do. We need a Cannabis Concentrated Oil emoticon!
Maybe a lil' picture of a syringe with dark oil in it...and the letters CCO behind it?
Just a thought....

:Namaste:

Hey Cannafan, the mods said awhile ago if we could find a good Emoticon they would use it. I went looking but could not find anything good. Don't spit just drool a little for 15 min. :cheesygrinsmiley:

John your words are gospel and needed here, for you sir are a "Self Healer" passing it forward. :adore:

SweetSue, your words are very comforting and wise, which is needed here on this journal. Thank you. :circle-of-love: Group hug.

She's also just started on Golden Paste (turmeric paste), and I'm hoping the combination will be synergistic.

Any insights would be appreciated.

A bit off-topic, but maybe not.

I have taken and recommended turmeric paste for years. I did a tablespoon a day until it stopped helping my joints - which were, by then, excellent. :)

About a year ago, I learned that the active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin, is MUCH more effective when taken with an ingredient in black pepper, piperine. This explains some of the difference I have seen in turmeric, which seems to work real well for for my friends from India (most of whom have black pepper heavy diets), and not really work for others.

So if taking Turmeric/curcumin one should consider black pepper/piperine.

The reason I say 'consider' rather than recommend is that last month I learned that piperine increases the effectiveness of curcumin by disrupting the removal of curcumin from the body causing it to hang around much longer, a half-life increase of 10x or more. This means it effectively multiplies the curcumin dose by 10x or more. The issue here is that turmeric is not the only vitamin or drug where black pepper/piperine increases the effective dosage. Vitamin D and Xanax come to mind.

.....

Which is to say, if she is eatng black pepper or taking piperine regularly it can multiply both desired effects and side effects from an as yet undetermined multitude or drugs and supplements.

She may want to eliminate Black Pepper from her diet, see if it makes a difference, and if it no change, add piperine to her diet and monitor for change.

I am NOTa DOCTOR or NUTRITIONIST. This is not medical advice, just an exchange of ideas.

My main source for info on piperine comes from a podcast by Rhonda Patrick, a biomedical and science educator whom I respect.

Thanks Radogast. Good to hear of your success with turmeric paste.

Yes, I know about having black pepper with the turmeric, but my only knowledge is that "it makes the turmeric work better". We're starting slow as I have read that side-effects from certain drugs can be increased when taking turmeric and black pepper (thanks for the explanation of why). It is on my list of things to discuss with her dr, but I will be monitoring her closely anyway.

Not all turmeric is the same. Some has had the curcumin taken out for use in supplements/capsules. Some has been cut with flour and yellow coloring. If this has been done to your turmeric then it won't work the way it's supposed to.

Will have to look into that podcast. Thanks again.

I'm in the process of soaking some un-decarboxylated cannabis in coconut oil (will soak for approx 4 weeks). Will this be ok to use as the coconut oil my GF has prior to tacking?

Was reading that THCA is good for inflammation and am just trying to get as many cannabinoids into her without getting her high.

I had difficulties tacking in the beginning. My wife suggested drying my gum and using a piece of a flat tooth pick to hold the tack in place. I only use a little over a piece of rice size tack 3x a day. I cut the wider end of a flat tooth pick a little longer than the tack size. Using the syringe I put the oil on the tooth pick and then put the tack on my gum and the piece of toothpick against my lip holds the tack in place. I usually keep the toothpick in place for 30 to 45 minutes. This ''technique'' might work for others having problems tacking. No swallowing is easy. I rarely feel a buzz. When I want to feel the buzz, my Magic Flight vaporizer does the trick.
I understand this ''technique'' might be difficult for some. It took a while to find the flat toothpicks. I found them on Amuhzon. Round ones don't work. But if you are having a problem tacking, you might try this.
Sorry about the bad photo. I used my tablet camera and my near blindness doesn't help. Took so long to photograph the oil got warm and started 'thinning out'. Blame woodstove and time it took to get crappy photo. But you get the idea what my technique is. For me it works just fine.

:goodjob:Thanks wildjim, a great idea!:thanks:

I think this can really help a lot of folks. I hope Motoco checks this out.

I use my lower denture the same way (but don't remove it later, lol).

This is the 'Thinking outside the tent' that will cause (among other things) and explosion in the use of CCO.

Again....:goodjob:

I can't take the credit. My wonderful wife of 40 years  came up with the idea. It works great for me.

Thank you, Wildjim, for sharing this ! :thanks:
I thought just today, I should supply myself dentures without teeth, for tacking!
Drying my gums is like tossing: dry- not dry- not loose tack- loose tack.
I shall try your method!

good to see you too. I hope you're doing awesome. I'll drop in your grow & get caught up.

Oh no, i meant the rest of us won't be talking about other protocols other than tacking on this thread. If a member has ?'s about how to make it or other protocols, we've been pointing them to the right place if we can.
I created a thread awhile back talking about suppositories & all that (in my sig) so we can keep this thread purely tacking.
This is your thread exclusively.
(vip seating is down 2 rows & to the left we're told). Lol.

lol!
